Some my call 2 blogs in 1 day attention seeking or "uncalled for". I call them bonus blogs!
So today was day 3 of doing OK. Not fab, definatly some room for improvement, but not bad either. I did have chocolate. But I have made my peace with it. I wanted some and it had been 3 days. As long as it isn't everyday.
Breakfast was a fruit and veggie smoothie. A little light on the spinach due to a heavy handed frozen fruit pour, but lesson learned, spinach first next time. Snacks were a special K bar and an apple with cinnamon. Lunch was 1/2 a packet of microwave rice with some smoked chicken. And dinner. Let me tell you about dinner.
I ate brussell sprouts. AND I LIKED THEM!!!! Add a veggie to the list people. My secret? Roasting! I chucked them in with the poatoes, gave them all a toss in some sesame oil and S+P and roasted for 45 minutes. And I dipped them in BBQ sauce. They were delish. Served with a dry fried lamb chop.
So that was my day. I shall track, I shall see and I shall hope that overnight chocolate becomes discusting to me...OK maybe not. Maybe I shall hope for more will power?
I plan on starting to go on short walks next week. I don't want to overload myself because in the past I have done that and things have gone pear shaped. I am also SWAMPED with uni and work, so spare time has been rare. AND I still need to take it slow with my knee. Sounds like excuses but I gotta do what will (hopefully) work for me!
