I did it! I finished! And in a very respectable (in my humble opinion) 1h3m, for a 8.4km race. That's a 7m30s per kilometre pace, which isn't bad considering the lack of training. Last year, with training, I was running 8 minute kilometres, so I didn't do too badly. Also, I had a horrible side stitch for the whole race (I think it was the coffee since it was the only thing I did differently) and ended up stopping to walk a few times. My running buddy was amazing and dragged me (literally at times) through the race and kept my spirits up. I was really hurting near the end, but we kept shuffling along and made it to the finish where I promptly lay on the ground.
We did have a few kerfuffles (like my gym not ever registering us even though I paid them!), but luckily everyone was really nice and believed that we had paid my gym since we were wearing the tshirts, so we were able to grab a spare number and run.

I'm now hanging around the low 66kg mark, which puts me at 21kg lost. I have dipped a little lower, but I think I was just dehydrated. I've now been maintaining at the low 66's for over a week.
I didn't mean to lose more! I'm not tracking and I'm still eating in a similar manner to how I was when I was actively losing so I'm guessing that I'm not eating enough calories to maintain. I'll see how I go if I throw in an extra snack, I suppose.

Other that that
Just call me Coach Bubble. I coached my girls teeball team on Tuesday. They lost 3 games and had one draw, but their attitude was awesome the whole time, and I am still so proud of them! The boys team did well too, but I couldn't coach 2 teams at once so another teacher helped out with the boys team. I had to get up at assembly today to present the teams with their certificates... In front of 250 children and staff. Fun times.
I'm running an 8.4km race on Sunday... Well, I'll jog and walk. Memo to me, don't sign up for things with a months notice. I had no training due to illness, travel, and laziness.
I am FINALLY getting back into a gym routine. Illness and work stuffs got me out of a routine, so I am trying my best to get back into my 5 day/4day fortnightly routine.
I'm having a lazy Friday night. A few TV shows, a bit of computer time, and an early night. What. A. Life.

I've been in maintenance for a month now (Woohoo!), so my goals have changed. I still have goals though, so here they are!
Keep maintaining around the 67kg mark (I tend to see numbers anywhere from 66kg (fluke, I think) to 68kg, depending on a lot of factors)
Work out 5 times per week (usually 2 boxing and 3 ST, but want to add running back in somewhere)
Do a pull up without the band
Run Round the Bays this weekend and not die (I signed up on a whim and haven't trained due to illness, work stuff, being out of town, and general laziness)
Eat 5 servings of fruit and veggies every day. I'm slipping on this one so I need to get back on track!!
So, there ya go. I'll update at the end of the month and let y'all know how I went!
