Instead of my favourite Sunday routine of running to the gym, doing my weights and then walking home I opted to drive to the gym, do my weights and then drive back. Much better idea for today!
I felt fine doing my weights. A little coughing still, but since the gym is nearly empty on a Sunday I wasn't bothering anyone. AND The receptionist commented on my weight loss! That was nice. I am enjoying my new weights routine, since it gives me lots of variety.
Had a nice, healthy lunch when I got home. Chicken and salad pita pocket with 2 tangelos on the side. YUM!
And that is my day! I am planning on doing some more relaxing and then diving into some planning for next week. Sunday afternoon always comes too quickly on the weekend.

No blog yesterday? Well, there was nothing much to report. I had a good nights sleep. I discovered a good sleeping position that meant minimal coughing and nose leakage (sorry!)
Since on Thursday I was sent home at 3pm and told not to come back until Monday, I had arranged a reliever to look after my babies for the day. I watched bad tv for most of the morning and went to the doctor. Diagnosis of hay fever that turned into a sinus and chest infection. That explains why I didn't feel that bad this week; It was only hay fever until the infection kicked in. I am on broad, strong, antibiotics for 10 days and steroids for 10 days. The steroids aren't too strong, so I'm not expecting a gain, but I may not lose anymore until I am off them.
After the doctor I had a naughty lunch from the bakery. I wanted a cream donut and I was gonna have one. Then I slept for 4 hours. I woke up, relocated to mums bed (she gets more channels on her TV) and watched TV and dozed for another couple of hours. I was so sick I just wanted to sleep so I didn't have to deal with feeling so terrible. My plan was to sleep until I was better.
I was supposed to take my boyfriend our for his birthday dinner, but I was so sick he offered to pick up burgers. I opted for the grilled chicken tenders and chips as a slightly better option.
Even after all that napping I was still ready for bed at 9.30pm. I managed to stay awake until nearly 11, since there was something on that I really wanted to watch, but I was napping in the ads. I still slept all night, and didn't wake up until the boyfriends alarm went off around 8am.
So, that was my sick day.
Today I am feeling much better. I'm still snotty and coughing but not as much as I have been. It is the boyfriends birthday, so I picked up his birthday cupcake and surprised him at work. I picked up a mini cupcake for myself (they are 2 bites, 1 if you're really keen) and they gave me 1 extra for free, so I had a little treat today! We went out for lunch, visited his parents and then came home to watch some TV and have a quiet afternoon. He is off out with the boys tonight, and it sounds suitably boring and geeky, so I'm staying home. Quiet night with mum, which is just what I need.

Well, I might be getting sick again. So far it is only a cough and a bit of a fuzzy head. And sneezing, but I'm a very sneezy person so this isn't new. I left work around 4pm, prepped for a reliever, and told my lead teacher that I wasn't feeling well and was going to head home and rest up, but I might not be in tomorrow. I have an insanely supportive team, so I am very lucky. I am hoping that if I take it easy tonight I will feel better tomorrow. If not I'll take the day off work and rest. I am hoping that I am just overworked and over tired, and an early night will take care of it!
So, obviously, no gym today. Luckily I was insane yesterday and got in my cadio and my strength!
