Hey So I haven't blogged in a long time so I thought I would take a few and do it! I kind of stalled for a few months (I think it was due to the weather soooo cold for soooo long) lol I have been exercising and eating better for about a month now. But a new challenge has come up and I want to start ramping it up. I also want to do the Firecracker 5k on July 4th! And I don't like to run so this will be a big test for me. My hubby and kids are working hard at staying healthy also which for me is a BIG plus~ My oldest daughter has made up a work out schedule and is learning things in her Fit and Firm class at school so she is really motivating me! So all I can say for now life is good, I love my family and feeling great! emoticon

So I haven't be on in a while my sister in law has asked me to do a 24 fit challenge with her so I am going to try and get back on track it is better when someone else is doing it too

Weight Loss Challenge

So today was the last day of the weight loss challenge we had at work. 8 weeks to lose. I did good every week but 1 and I had to pay 1 dollar. So with the long weekend and family here I didn't think I would do well But ....... I lost 3 more pounds!!!! That's is 19 pounds total. Hubby lost 16. The trainer asked if we are going to keep trying to lose and we both said YES!! This needs to be life changing. Even our kids eat and feel better. Spark people has made it better. Yesterday I had trouble logging in and panicked. I thought I need to track!!!! Now to get my Bu** moving hate to exercise. I need to set a goal and stick to it I would love to be able to run. No way I could now. Start slow I guess. emoticon

Sister Visit

So I took my sister to the train last night after a 3 day visit. It was wonderful. I didn't track at all on those 3 days and we did eat out 2 times but over all I did ok. We had fruit here to eat and dinners were planned but I did have choc and chips. I think I an up a pound or so but this morning I went back to tracking and I have 2 days before the last weigh in for our challenge at work. I like to think that just being on Spark has helped because I would have over ate them went back to my old ways before spending time on spark. So back to tracking and I go back to work tom I always do better when I work.

So I bought the book on my kindle last night and went to work reading through it. I thinks it has some good info and good recipes. However I thought I was to get Spark Coach and spark point stuff but I cant find it any where in a video blog some one said that if you make a recipe it is easy to find a and log well I made the pancakes today and no where could I fine the recipe to log so I had to put it in by hand. kind of frustrating. The list of food to buy is HUGE and I have some of the stuff my only saving grace is some of the things you buy I can make for the family. They wont like some of the stuff. The breakfast and lunches are mostly for 1 person and the dinners are for 6 what an I to do with 3 other servings as 1 of my children is a veg and wont eat most things and the other is kind picky. I guess I will work through it. Some of the veg like spinach I don't like so I will change it up a bit. Cant really start the program as my sister is coming and she follow WW and we already meal planned healthy dinner everyone will like. I did go for a walk last night I HAVE to get going on the exercise I don't like to do. I am on my feet all day at work sometimes 12 hrs so walking to me is no fun try to ride bike when I can but it is raining now. Any way just my thoughts for today HAPPY SUNDAY
