I think I'll be able to do much better this time, I'm going to a gym I really enjoy, I know it's time to shift this weight on health grounds now and most of all the dreaded depression of the last 4 years is lifting emoticon

I'm Back Again

I've been away for about a year and managed to put almost all the weight I lost back on, I went to weight Watchers and I don't think it's my type of thing. I need to get motivated and start again, slowly getting back to eating sensibly and starting to exercise. I am giving myself a month to get myself sorted out and living a healthier life. emoticon

I WALKED to work (well almost) today

I have walked for 101, yes 101 minutes today. I decided to try parking the car at the shopping centre near here and WALKING to work, luckily it was quite nice weather, not too hot or cold. I will not be doing it tomorrow though, my feet are a bit sore! But I will do it again next week, losing weight, saving petrol and the planet.

Well I'm back from Legoland and when I weighed myself this morning I still weighed the same as I did the day I set off. I was aware of what I was eating and counted my weight watchers points even though they were about 39 a day, whoops! It made me feel in control though and at least I still kept an eye on what I was eating, believe me the total could have been MUCH worse if I had not been watching what I ate. I had a McDonalds with the kids but ate a lower points choice so it didn't do TOO much damage.

Tonight my eldest son rang to tell me that he has got engaged so my target date is July 2010! I am determined to be at least 3 stones lighter by then. So I'd better start!

I go to Legoland on Tuesday for 4 days, we are taking our grandson aged 6 who is desperate to go there but I will have temptations in restaurant meals etc so I am hoping to keep on track while I'm there, one good thing is I'll do plenty of walking!
See you all when I get back, I promise to tell the truth about how I get on.
