Oh my oh my! I want to the gym again today since my husband was busy again. I hate to say it but I love it when he has to work a little longer and I have a little free time to exercise in the gym. Only problem, the temperature is VERY COLD! It was actually 53F inside! The windows were fogging over and was freezing compared to outside.
But, the weather was threatening rain again. Actually I'm not sure if it ever stopped raining today. haha I love these types of days because I'm allowed to sit and read a little while the weather is drizzling outside. It's very peaceful - plus everything turns green after. It does make me a bit tired though. I had a hard time getting myself to get out of the house to workout. I fought with myself - fingers were waving and everything.
I managed to win against myself and got to the gym. Running was around 44 minutes and 4 miles in total. Weight lifting for about 10-15 minutes using more weights than normal. I even did 35 pounds behind my head - hooray! I did 30 minutes on the bike going 5 miles as a cool-down. Then I walked to and from the gym which is around .33 one-way. I did okay - just over 300 calories burnt for about 2 hours exercise.
Eating was better today because my stomach muscles have been in real pain. I'm not sure if it has been the food choices lately or the increased exercise routine. But, my stomach has hurt walking, sitting, breathing and so on. So, I have been watching my meals to assure that healthy, whole foods are going in along with a reduction in sugar and fat content. It seems to be helping my muscles. I'll let you all know.
