I finally got it!!

I ate really well, for two years.. I retrained my brain and my body.. I hit my goal of 174, down from 274.. and I let life step in.. since then which was Nov 2012 I have been on a ruff patch.. Exercise no problem (without injury), but my mom was diagnosed with cancer, and life got really stressful.. I got all the way back up to 197..

I retrained my self to eat right again, but I reinjured my knee, so instead of working out, I am watching what I eat.. May 5th I weighed 197.2 and now I weigh 190. I think I finally got it!! When my knee is better, I will run again... I HOPE!!

Injured Again

Taken it easy on the cardio, but watching what I eat.. Keeping everything in check, but still doing weights, and some easy cardio...

Doing Good?

I have been doing good, and working out, but... I lost 6 pounds, then in two days, on Sat I jogged and walked in the woods about 8 miles, in 2 hours, then looked for mushrooms later. ate well that day, Sunday Mothers day ate a little over my norm, but not to bad, and then this a.m I put on 7 pounds since friday What the Hell??? Frustrated.. I know I did everything right, why is the scale wrong!!!

Back at it!!

Need to get things on track again, it felt so good yesterday!!! I ran 2 miles and what it made me feel was almost unexplainable!!! Today.. of Coarse Raining, so it will be Elliptical time, but eating is what I most need to pay attention to.. I need to commit to 5 meals a day.. 3 main dishes and two snacks, no more I can do better tomorrow.. NO MORE!! I feel good about this today, I hope it all comes together, I lost 100 pounds on my own its not too much to ask to lose 23 pounds now.. I would love to see 170 by the end of summer!! Wish me luck!!

    Thank You PFERG86 I will do all I can to make changes.. I am back up to 197 from 174... Life got in the way, but I know I can do it!!

Getting back on track is something we all have had to do. I think food may be more difficult than exercise.
BTW, I am not a runner. I "jig-jog" to the best of my ability!! emoticon
I will enjoy hearing about your runs. And I do run in my dreams emoticon .

I have had a ruff time staying in the groove lately. Sept. til now not so good, put on twelve pounds found out my mom has cancer, and injured my knee again. I am in a new challenge and I am going to get this weight off.. I hope everyone is having a good 2014 thus far!!

    Maybe we could stay in contact, since I am a fairly new member to Spark (Jan. '14) and what you have to say resonates with me--I'm 'stuck' in the 170's and just started to really like exercising. Hope to see more blogs or posts from you!

    You can do it! Just take one step at a time. You have come along way and don't want to go back, I know. Try to think of ways that helped you in the past. Focus on one for a while until you have it "in the bag" again.
