Normally on Wednesdays I do the following:
nap after class, Zumba at 1730, quick shower and change to head to Bible Study (get there around 1855), get home around 2030, do my Ct5K workout, shower, change, bed.
But today...the afternoon nap didn't work out so well. Zumba was rough because today is the full force of profuse bleeding (if you get my drift)...but I still burned 980 calories, and I stayed to do the two songs of abs (which, by the way, are killing me from Core on Mon & Tues). And because of profuse bleeding, my cravings were in full swing--for KOREAN food. So I called up my local boy friend D'Andre (down the hall from me), and said we should go grab Korean (he doesn't have a car here). So I got the bulgogi, and ate lots of kimchee cucumbers, and didn't even TOUCH the white rice!
Needless to say, it's 2045, I haven't done my Ct5K (and it won't get done tonight...) AND I went over my calories for the day. But, on the plus side, I only had ONE sweet thing, my 90 calorie ice cream snickers bar. Totally not Primal/Paleo... but it's okay. You gotta give sometimes. But I am all about getting at least 7 hrs of sleep, so after this blog, I'm peacing off the computer to catch some much needed Zzs.
One cool thing, even though I'm bleeding profusely and hence am normally bloated and retaining water weight, it doesn't seem to be the case this time. Today on the scale I was still 159 (good since last month I was 165 when it was "this time."). I'm excited to hop into the Bod Pod next week and see how much muscle/fat I am.

I kind of wanted to wait until Sep 2011, and then I could say that I only write blogs in September :) But I opted not to.
Just dropping in. Saying for the world to read... that my goal is to stick with my calories (even on the weekends!), continue my cardio workouts, and add some strength training to tone my arms...
and I love fitness classes :)

Well yesterday when I got off shift after the mid, I got to work out and run some errands. Then I went home, and slept until about noon to 9. Today didn't work out so well since I had an appt at 1030 but needed to stop by to see the oral surgeon beforehand. I was going to try and workout after work before heading up to Tripler, but alas was at work until 9, and knew if I was going to get parking or anything, I needed to go straight up to Tripler, when I then realized I left my CAC at work. Needless to say, I'll be leaving for work early tonight, so I can get through the gate. *SIGH*
Woke up around 5, couldn't really sleep more (~5.5 hrs sleep), made some minestrone soup with portugese sausage, and was going to head out to prayer, but started to get tired again. Opted to stay home, let grandma take care of the kid, and lay down. I'll hopefully be in dream land soon. Guess my workout today didn't really pan out. Sadly...
Hopefully tomorrow after work will be better, and I get home at a decent time, to sleep at a decent time, and then get to Wed Night Bible Study, and rest before going back to work. Only 3 more mid-shifts and then back to days for a couple weeks. Yay! :)

But I need to get back on track. Not just because I'm back to seeing my nutritionist, but how long am I going to put on this facade of being healthy, but still stuck at 170lbs?!

Today was quite the physical day.. and this will be a short blog. I need to read some hw before I go to bed, because tomorrow I need to sleep at 6pmish, to prep for my first DAY shift at work (start at 0345). :D
Anyway, kayaking for about an hour in the ocean-what a stinkin workout!
Then did my timed 1.5miles today-shaved off 23 seconds from last week! Praise GOD!
19 Sep: 2:35, 2:43, 2:45, 2:47, 2:47, 2:27 = 16:07
13 Sep: 2:45, 2:51, 2:50, 2:47, 2:47, 2:28 = 16:30
Then I got home and realized today is my first plyox day... holy smokes. I did 1.5 sets and 1) was pooped and 2) needed to start some hw, so I called it quits. I figured, today was a good workout and it's ok to shave off 30min from plyo :) there's always next week.
