I am pushing, too! Thank you for your words of encouragment. I am down 3 lbs from last week. Consistency is working for me. Too much variation in my nutrition causes problems. So each week a change it up, but for 5 to 6 days, I eat the same thing everyday.

    So, glad you were able to stay true to your self with the exercising. Remember about protein it really fuels the body and gives energy. It really cuts the hunger down of the night too. I get a protein powder to put in my food plan to use for snack time. I use chocolate flavor and put some sugar free chocolate syrup in it to make it taste better. It tastes better when it is really cold. I also add some fiber powder in it can't tell it is there but it really does my body good.Be careful of what type of powder you buy some have more sugar and carbs than we need to lose weight. The ESA protein powder (at Walmart) is good for weight lost. Just add some low calories flavors to it to make it taste better. i really love it because I can take a serving of the powder with me to the gym and use my shaker bottle to mix it before or after a work out. cuts that hunger really down.

You are on the ball !!!! You go Girl!!! I agree that be accountable to someone or group is the key to hanging in there. I am doing so much better since I have join SP. Have a wonderful day.

    Your are right the beans is a very good choice of food. That is protein and protein is what feeds our muscles. I use any kind of protein to cut down on hunger. You will even burn more calories if you eat high in protein. I get can fruit with out sugar added or in it's own juice and put 1/2 cup of low fat cottage cheese, use a little Splenda or something like it really seems to keep the hunger away. I do the can fruit because the fresh fruit is more expensive and it will spoil on me. I use small container and divide the serving out in to the container when I open the can. Put that into the refrigerator. Then it is ready for me to use and I don't have to deal with portion size until the next new can is open.
So glad you are feeling better because of you eating and moving your body. It has helped me so much. I am not the same as I was one year ago when I started my exercising. I feel a lot younger. I can do things that I could not do now. Don't let anyone still Your determination away from you. When It come down to it you are the only one that can do this for you. Your friend can't do it for you. If you are able to still plan your exercising and do things with them , Great! When you can't and it changes your plans to take care of your self, then you need to think long and hard about changing your plans. They can't make you healthy. You are the only one that can do something about getting healthier and staying that way. I think you are thinking along the correct terms. emoticon emoticon

    Beans are great fillers, and hold you over for a longer period of time. I have oatmeal in the morning which is another good filler, and beans at lunch, it really does a number on the hunger issue.

    OK, Girl, you are doing better. I am glad you are going to eat correctly during the day. I set my cell phone alarm to go off at my times that I need to eat my small meals. then I eat then. This will get you on a schedule. I find if I eat 6 small meals during the day I do so much better during the night. I even have one of my small meals WITH protein in it almost just before I go to bed. It really seems to help. The thing is to count those calories. I am off to Water Aerobics. See you later.     Cool blog ... You know on Sat you can track the time your plying with your grand babies cause that is a workout ... in the fitness tracker under home or other , there is a place called playing with children.

    You know what you are saying. I have done it too. Ok think about it eat enough count the calories. If you don't eat enough calories to live OK you are going to be hungry at night. Count the calories ant then tell yourself that you have had enough. If you have not eat enough you WILL be hungry. The first step is get enough during the day and then fight the night hunger. i have been where you are at for so many years. hugs, judy

Watch all of those reactions to those pills. Will you hear your kiddies if they get up in the middle of the night and need you? That concerns me. (I think I remember you telling us that you had kids.)
Is it possible to try something else as a sleep aid such as chamomile tea and honey with spritzing your room with some lavender spray. These won't do what some of the pills can do, but if the pills aren't really working, can you try something easier on your system.
I can tell from everyone's posts that they are concerned and that we need you! So, take care of yourself.
PS: I'm going to acupuncture this week. I haven't been in years. I'd rather try something like that than the pharmaceuticals... just my opinion.

    the sleep aids are no good- dangerous product- legal & dangerous, skip it...
some people have opposite reactions- like drinking coffee puts them asleep- like hyper folks slow down on the caffeine . Maybe you are that way. You sure a nice person even when you are wide awake in the middle of the night, though emoticon I tend to be rough. See you later.

    Isn't it funny/ironic how we can have really good days and then the night comes along and it feels like we could eat a house. I wonder sometimes if it is boredom or medication?
