Woke up today with a really sore throat! OUCH! I had a feeling last night that I might be getting sick. Turns out that I was right, unfortunately! As the day went on I really felt pretty bad, just worn out really.
But, my biggest problem of the day? I HAD TO CHANGE MY WORKOUT SCHEDULE!!! WHAT?!?!?
Who'd have thunk it 3 months ago that I would be equally sad& mad that I wasn't going to get in my scheduled workout today? I was HEATED! It is harder when trying to stick to the Tap Out XT workout schedule for 90 days and I am only on day 5! I hated to get off track so soon!
So I made the best of it. I am scheduled to have a rest day Friday in which I would do my normal P90x Stretch video. So, I moved that up 2 days and did it today and will just move todays workout to tomorrow. I think I made a good decision because with the way I was feeling, I wouldn't have gotten in a good workout.
Hope I feel better for Thursday so I can get in a good workout!

I have finished 9 weeks of Insanity & diet! Ok, so this weekly recap will have a day of Tap Out XT as well but you get the idea! I think I had a really good week overall. Finishing Insanity really gave me a good motivational boost to start Tap Out XT!
Spark lowered my numbers a bit for my daily ranges after my last weigh-in. Shouldn't be an issue since I have been at or below my ranges all along!

Overall, I am really happy with my week 9! Week 10 will be getting going full swing with Tap Out XT! Looking forward to seeing the results from that!

Not sure if I think August went by quickly or slowly? I guess I would just say it went by normal then. The school year started which meant back to work for me and back to school for the kids. I stayed faithful and truthful to my diet! I weighed in 2 times for the month...
August 13th - down 58.6 total
August 31st - down 64.3 total
So I definitely saw some positive results for the month of August. Did I mention I also kicked some Insanity ASS in August?!? Well, I DID! I finished Insanity on the 30th and started Tap Out XT today, September 1st but that will be the story for my September retrospective.
Lets see the numbers from August...
August Calories Eaten - 62,825 or about 2,026 a day
August Carbs Eaten - 8,307 or about 268 a day
August Fat Eaten - 1,101 or about 35.5 a day
August Protein Eaten - 5,237 or almost 169 a day
August Fitness Minutes - 2,330 or about 75 minutes a day!
August Calories Burned - 28,030 or about 904 a day!
I really love seeing the numbers layed out like that. Really makes me feel like I accomplished something!
31 days in August, 31 days of diet & exercise. I did not skip a day. I did not miss a day. I started this journey 119 days ago and I am not stopping! Looking forward to what September brings!
I have started Tap Out XT and am looking forward to what happens with that. I will be done with Tap Out XT on November 23rd so I am in for the long haul!

This blog will be simple and not filled with facts and figures like so many of them seem to become (hey, I like numbers). Ok, so there will be a couple of numbers, but they are necessary!
The main number is 3. I have just 3 days left of Insanity! ONLY 3 DAYS! I can't hardly believe myself that I am that close to being done with it! I have not missed any workouts or skipped any days. I have done it every day since I started and now the finish line is Thursday! I really think that outside of kids related things, this will rank as one of my proudest personal accomplishments. I really do!
But, with the end of Insanity brings up a new question that I have been giving some thought about. After Insanity, what is next? Ok, Friday is my next weigh-in but after that. Saturday is September 1st which sounds like a great date to start a new workout program! I had a friend tell me that I should take a couple weeks off...umm NO! I will take Friday off (P90x stretching video...that is my off day lol) and then start anew of Saturday.
I have 107.4lbs to go, so it isn't coming anytime soon.
My choices are...
-Insanity a 2nd time
-Tap Out XT
I don't think I want to go through Insanity again right away. I mean, I know it would work but I get bored doing the same workouts over and over and I am kind of there on a couple of the Insanity workouts.
I am leaning Tap Out XT. I skimmed over a couple of the workouts and it honestly looks harder than Insanity which is kind of crazy but sounds like a challenge! Tap Out XT is also 12 weeks instead of 9 like Insanity which may make it harder to stick with.
I am curious if anyone has any suggestions or opinions on any of these programs. I am open to hearing pros and cons to any of them.
