It's so HOT!!

I really wish I could do more outdoor activities towards exercising but it is so dreadfully hot. We are having temps of at least 100 degrees each day with a heat index of around 114. Due to the heat I have to do all of my exercising inside and it gets boring. I would rather walk outside where there is more to see. Oh well, there is nothing I can do about the weather!

    I used to live in the south and remember those hot steamy summers! We are having a heat wave here in Michigan. Made my workout harder today.

Suggestions Needed

I am down to needing to lose 18 more pounds to get to my target weight. I weigh 133 and want to get down to 115. My question is: is it realistic to try to lose 2 pounds a week or is 1 pound about all that is possible? I am only eating 1300 to 1400 calories a day and working out every day but the scale doesn't move more than 1 pound a week.

    They say the slower the better...and your close to your goal your body will start to fight you in weird ways at certain plateaus. I am trying to lose 15 and I just lost 3..I go up and down 5 and my body hits its comfort zone in -2 more lbs so I will have to be vigilant and will be happy for the 1 a week til I get past this plateau. I was there at one point and will want to get there again.
Make sure your having lots of water and eating lots of fruits and veggies for the fiber too.

Almost a smaller size!!

Well my size 7's are getting loose and soon I will be down to a smaller size. It feels great when your clothes get too big and you can move down in size. It reassures you that you are doing all of this for a reason and the reason is showing.

I have also had several people ask me why in the world I am watching what I eat. They said I don't need to lose any weight. Of course, I know about the rolls they can't see and I know I need to lose about 20 more pounds but it does make you feel good when people say things like that.

Yesterday I blogged that I was stuck on a plateau but today my scale was gracious to me. The water weight and plateau have taken leave and the scale was down. I actually did a little dance right there on the scale. Once again I am revived and feel that I am on my way to a slimmer me!

I absolutely hate hitting a plateau. I watch everything I eat, track my calories, drink water, and exercise like crazy but I keep hitting stages where I go for weeks without losing any weight. I wish there was an easy solution to make this stop happening!

    same thing here.The scales just wont budge.But I can be just as stubborn.One day that number on the scale will move.For the both of us. emoticon
