I think it was about three weeks ago that I decided to try going wheat free to see if I could break through the "stuck" mode I have been in for way too long. Up, down, up, down..but not real progress. Then, about a week after that (or was it two) I decided to see if I could stop the diet soda stuff, too.
It has been much easier than I expected. I have had some surprises at when I would be brought up short realizing "I DON'T eat/drink that any more!" (Notice..not "I can't"!)
Results...as of this morning, I have lost FIVE lbs...and am now back to where my ticker has been waiting for me, serving as reminder that I have been there! I have changed nothing else. Still dancing, mowing, walking, doing stairs...eating the same other than the wheat and soda changes. I can FEEL the change, too.
Something I really find interesting is that when the scale shows even just a one pound loss...I FEEL thinner and lighter and more "can do" all day.
I am aware that the scale may bounce numbers up and down still...but I am seeing and feeling the ultimate progression. I am pleased.
