For a long time I have wondered how I managed to stay at the "plateau" I had reached...I felt I was eating fairly well and maybe it was just not enough exercise. Now that I am trying to record all my food AND seeing the caloric totals! I am shocked. I do still need to adjust my exercise levels..but now I also see how I am unconsciously sabotaging myself. Time to get going now and buckle down to some positive adjustments.

    Thinking of you too! Isn't is just amazing the things we can learn when we just stop to take notice?

Tracking every bite or sip I swallowed really opened my eyes! As long as I keep it up I know I can meet my goal - and you will too! Plateaus are so challenging - it really helps to see the little successes - to look at everything in a positive light!

I am not yet following any diet as such, but in just the few days I have been exploring here, I am increasing my awareness of how my diet is sabotaged in many little ways...nibbles, munchies and though choices are not always bad, quantify of those choices can get me in trouble. This will take some figuring to adjust...but I am finding the ability to track food on here and then see the totals very enlightening!

I eat reasonably well and my weight went down ten lbs last year, but I obviously need to kick into higher gear to get the next ten moving....mainly, i need to get ME moving.
