So glad the weekend is finally here! This is the first weekend in a while where I don't have to be anywhere and I am thrilled emoticon sometimes it just feels nice to do nothing. I plan on spending time with my girls and catching up on my reading.

In the weight loss department I had a great week lost a little over a pound and ate well. It was my girls bday yesterday and there was lots of goodies to eat I was very mindful of what I ate instead of grabbing a whole bunch of unhealthy things I watched my portions and still ate the things I enjoy just in smaller portions.

Today is my girls bday I bought cupcakes for them since their main party is on Saturday but I had a small victory that I'm proud of, the cupcakes came in a 12 count and I handed them one each in which they blew out the candles etc and gave the rest to my husband to take to work and give it to his co-workers and whoever else might want some. I didn't touch one emoticon.

My goal for today is to stick to my meal plan - I haven't been doing so great in that department which is why I have been maintaining instead of losing these past two weeks.

Keep falling off track on the weekends

These past two weeks more so weekends have been a huge struggle for me and I keep eating everything I know I shouldn't be. During the week I stay on track, eat right,work out and everything is good. But the weekend comes around which means family, friends, going out and I just make really bad choices lately.

I'm really frustrated with myself because it's no ones fault but my own for the lack of self control and bad planning with my meals. Anyways one thing I will be doing is keeping an emergency stash of healthy food items in my car for the days when i'm on the go and really plan out my meals on the weekend and try my best to stick to it.

    I'm doing the same thing. I don't know why we self sabotage ourselves then...crazy but we shall prevail!!!

    Weekends are tough, after putting in a full week, you feel you deserve a reward. Think of alternative rewards that aren't food relate and track those pesky calories.

    I have found myself on the weekends no matter the plans, arranging them around how I want my healthy lifestyle to be. Going out with friends means planning ahead such as healthy snacks, looking up menus online of potential places to eat as well as making sure to slide in some form of exercise before showering to head out. Do you usually decide on plans? Would it be possible to decide on healthier activities on the weekends like trail hiking, biking or some other physical activity? Just because it is physical activity doesn't mean you can't have fun. :) emoticon

    I feel you on that one!!! Weekends are tough, but I know that planning and keeping my motivations in my head at all times helps a lot
