Lots of good news lately.
One our business has been very busy after the New Year and holiday stuff,
two, our lease is being renewed at our current rent for two more years, and three, I've lost 5 pounds since sparking again.
It's slow but steady.
Still watching the gluten and carbs. Trying to get my carbs from veggies. Staying away from Bread (which I LOVE) , pasta, and rice. Not easy.
I do not have an allergy so if I slip a bit, no problem.
I am on a 30 day streak. Yeah!

That is all I wanted to say, I have been here everyday for 26 days. Up and down everyday. My girlfriend tried the low carb thing. Not sure about that, I love bread, but maybe I can take it out for awhile and pasta, potatoes, rice, etc. I can test it out.

Right now I am weighing myself everyday, which is actually encouraging. I started last Friday the 10th, and since then have lost 4 pounds. If I can lose 4 pounds a week, I can be in that swim suit and my old clothes again by Spring. Oh, and I haven't really exercised yet. besides keeping track of walking with a pedometer. Wait until I start exercising.
So far cutting way back on wine and really logging everything I put in my mouth, eating clean and healthy, and being here everyday. I'm on day 18.

Wow, two days in a row. In my last blog I mentioned the lack of wine made losing 3.6 pounds easy. However I boobooed, Joe and I took Brutus for a walk in St. Augustine. We walked over ten miles in two in half hours. You don't even realize it. But, here it comes, I had wine with luch, and proceeded to drink more later that evening. And you guessed it, it made me gain one pound. Even though I walked more than normal, and eat less calories. Yup.
The good news, I now know for sure what the culprit is. So, this morning, I at a light breakfast, Mexican eggbeater omelet with a slice of Tomato.
Oh, I started making these smoothies,
1 cup almond milk
1/3 cup Blueberries
1 medium Banana
Anyway, I set up everything I will have throughout the day. from lunch, dinner and snacks. My beverages will consist of coffee, tea, smoothie, water and 8 oz V8 low sodium.
After warking with Joe on a job, I am going outside to clear a tree and branches that fell, thank God in the opposite direction of the house.
So, stay tuned for tomorrows weigh in. I also hope to walk Brutus.
