This has been a good round for me, I've lost weight-10 since Jan, I like my team the geckos, and I've increased my exercise.
There is a long break between rounds so it will be up to me to keep this going to do that I plan to use the treadmill 20 mins 4-5 days a week and to plan better meals and snacks. This includes when I'm babysitting and at the Sr Center

Bonnie's cabin in the woods-June Walk

Thursday, June 05, 2014

I've just moved in and will walk around my place. On Sunday I walked the 2 miles round trip to the lake. When I got there I took off my shoes and splashed my feet in the cool water. On Tuesday I went 1.5 miles into the woods and had a picnic then walked 1.5 miles back On Wednesday I walked the 4 miles around the lake stopping to rest half way around. That is 9 miles for this week I only rolled a three on the dice. Next week I would like to walk to the mountain on the other side of the lake, camp out and the next week walk back the third week.

Its July and I went fishing on the lake. This is the first time I have ever been fishing and it was fun. I caught 6 bluegill on the catch and release system I also mastered the fly casting method. Later I went for a boat ride on the lake seeing cranes, otters, geese , vultures, and rapids. It was a great trip I'm so glad I decide to stay at the cabin for another month

Acting 2

I'm sitting in the audience in my designer maroon dress waiting with everyone for the announcement. "The Winner for Best Actress in a comedy role is....." They open the envelope is opened and the card is read, "Bonnie Riddle". What that is me! I won!. I can barley move to walk up on stage. What do I say ? Who do I thank first? What if I fall on my face walking up the steps? If I do, well I am a comic people will think I planned to for a laugh. I made it up to the microphone taking the Oscar in my hands-its heavy and open my mouth to speak, but nothing comes out of it.

"Bonnie honey wake up you fell asleep watching the awards show. Its time to go to bed." I guess I'm the comedy star of my own kitchen

Wow, Bonnie, what an original approach to this exercise! The dream angle is so interesting! It's great to see a dream come to life in a blog. I hope this exercise made you feel good the way meditating about your "Happy Place" is meant to. May it give you renewed energy to push forward in all areas of your life! emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

What I've thought of actors through the decades
When I was 6 I didn't know what actors were. By 12 I had discovered the Marx Brothers and that actors were people who got paid for pretending. At 16 I had crushes on actors I would cut there pictures out of the Teen magizenes and save them hoping to someday show them to my future kids. In my 20's I was too busy with my kids to think about actors except to watch TV shows-Robert Wagoner and Pierce Bronson I had to watch. This is how it still is 40 years later but I don't have any that are my big favs right now except for Tom Selleck

Are actors still looked down upon? Not like in the past but if they do something outlandish the common thought is "well they are actors so what can we expect from them" I also think that actors should because of their exposure need to set themselves as an example.

Wouldn't it be wonderful if actors did more good with the exposure opportunity...some do but what a way to help out...

emoticon blog, Bonnie! It's great to reach back into our memory sometimes, isn't it? And it's great to hear your opinion on how actors are perceived and their behaviour. Yes, actors do seem to have a special privilege these days. It would be nice if they set better examples sometimes! Great points indeed! emoticon on finishing this part of your Acting Class! emoticon emoticon

Menu plan

Friday, May 09, 2014

This is going to be my new menu plan using TOPS guidelines
Breakfast-Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday
1 slice of bread
2T of Peanut butter
6 oz of yogurt
8 oz of juice
Breakfast for Monday, Wednesday, Friday
1/2 banana
8 oz milk
flax seed
tea or coffee
Breakfast for Saturday
Lunch is my evening meal on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday
on Tuesday and Thursday noon meal on Sunday
1 slice of bread
1 apple
1 oz lunch meat or egg
on Monday, Friday and Saturday noon meal on Wednesday
1 slice of bread
1 apple
2 T peanut butter or cheese
Dinner is the noon meal on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday and the evening meal on Wednesday and Sunday
2 starches=potato peas or corn
2 oz of meat
1 fat-margarine
1/2 banana on Mon, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday
2 T raisins on Sunday Tuesday and Thursday
8oz of milk

Right now the only problem I see are on Wednesday and Sunday those are the two days I'm not at home. I babysit at another house, and while I fix the food I don't buy it so I may not have the choices I would like. Sometimes the food is prepared and I just heat it up. I can do a few things like pack my meals (hard to do on Sundays because of going to church first and eating two meals that day there) remember what I can eat and make choices based on what's there. As I think about it I might do option two make good choices and not feel bad if mess up.

Yes Sunday was a problem I went over my cals basicly I didn't remember the plan maybe by Wednesday I'll have it better in my head
