Whew! I'm sweating like a man right now! LOL
Today I decided to do a performance workout on the Elliptical. I am SOOOOO proud of myself for how well I did. Here's the breakdown:
Time: 20 minutes
Resistance levels: 3, 4, 6, 7 and 9
Minutes I hit target RPM: 6
Minutes spent at 50 or higher RPMs: 13
Now here is why I'm proud of myself. While I only hit the target RPMs for 6 minutes, that's a new record for me. And one of those minutes the resistance level was 9! I've never been able to do that before. I'm also proud of myself because I was at 50RPMs or higher for over half of the workout. Now that won't seem like much to most people, but for me it's progress. My lungs took a beating from living in a house with toxic mold for years. I stopped working out for a long time because I couldn't do it anymore. So as I'm getting healthy again in a mold free house, I'm slowly working my way back up. To see progress excites me, and makes me want to push myself harder.
