Last week I had a goal of drinking 1 glass of water every day when I first got up. I did great the first few days and then STOPPED! I noticed a difference in how I felt on the days I started with water vs the days that I forgot. On days that I didn't drink water, I carried around a headache all morning. My migraine medicine dehydrates me at night, and the irony of that is that I wake up with a headache! So water is a must.
My other goal was to blog about the exercises I did. I did that, and I like doing it!
So this week's goals will be to drink a glass of water as soon as I get up each morning, and right before bed each night. I want to continue blogging about my workouts, and I also want to pick one friend to motivate this week. Being healthy is a journey, and you're more likely to stick to it if you are motivating someone else.
Lesson to be learned from this week: Just because you didn't reach a goal doesn't mean you shouldn't keep trying.
