Check in...with self.

Sunday, March 29, 2009

So, I checked in today. I weighed myself and took some measurements.
What? Yup, and it was a pleasant surprise. I've lost weight and some inches.
Yippee.

So, I'm going to keep collecting SP points and dropping pounds and inches.

Hooked on Spark points

Sunday, March 15, 2009

I am so hooked on Spark points!!!
I want to get to the next level as fast as I can.
The good news? It actually gets me doing things. I track what I eat every day. I'm reading articles that have had an impact (it's great to know what 300 calories looks like on a plate). Now I'm starting to exercise (another way I can get points). The only thing I worry about is the computer time to track all the points.

You and me, both! I admit it. I'm addicted and I know it. I need about 65 points till I get my next trophy and it's killing me that it won't happen this weekend!

Good luck with your weight loss adventure!

I started with SparkPeople a couple of days ago. I am having fun on the web site..navigating here and there. I find it's not a bad web site (MN talk for it's a very good). I'm so busy on the web site (especially adding foods to the nutrition section) that my caloric intake is down.
I hope this is not a "passing fancy" and I stay with SparkPeople.

Well, I'm into SP for a couple of weeks. A few days after my B'day, I took a "vacation" from my food goals. Instead of beating myself up, I just started again. It was very empowering. I didn't lose and ground (as in I didn't gain any weight, but then I didn't lose any either). So, I'm on track and feeling good (and losing again).
So the moral of my story..at least for me...is if I take a "vacation" come home as soon as I can (will) and keep on keepin' on.

Thanks for clearing up that MN talk! I often have to do that with my TN ! So much gets lost in the translation!

You will have fun here and it really gets you going in the right direction. To stay there, I have found, it makes it more interesting (TN Talk) if you do your SparkPoints daily. Try it, you may find that works for you, as well.

Have fun around here and let me know if you need any navigational help!
