I woke up this morning and weighed in, I am down by 7lbs. for the week. I'm so excited and proud of myself. but it has motivated me for another week. See if I can beat myself for next week. even though I know things will slow down some, but it's great for the mind to give your self a challenge. Is starting to be happy again. emoticon

6 week body way of living.

I am four days into this new way of eating. and so far I love the results. I have lost 5lbs in 4 days. Not bad at all. But I have to keep telling myself that this is for a better me. there are some days I have arguments with myself not to eat something that's not on my list. trying to stick with the 6 day mini part of it first, I eat a lot of salads for snacks and meal times. and that's not easy. but each day I weight myself I get my reward for sticking with the program.

I think the harder part of this or any kind Diet is the mental part. A person has to keep talking to them selves that what they are doing and eating is the best thing for them. Until you get the weight off you are restricted and that's hard on a person. but after you get to your goal of where you want to be you can incorporate more of the foods that you love but you will learn to do so in a healthier way. you will learn to cook and prepare foods alot healthier. the most important part I think in this whole program; is I will learn to eat a better proportion.

    Portion control is one of the biggest things for sure. Adding in exercise is also a complicated thing for some but you feel so great after. Keep up the great work!

6 week body make over

Well I started my 6 week body make over way of eating. this is day 2 and I'm feeling great about it. will see how this works in time. I just need to remember that this for the best, this is for me. I can do this, no matter what lays ahead. I need to drop weight for surgery; This is very important for me too do. Because it will be 6 weeks after that if everything goes right that I will be able to lift or exercise anything. I just need to keep this all in my mind as I go through this. it's for me.

Is there anyone in sparkpeople who live in my area, that would like to get together once or twice a week for walking or biking? The farthest I have gone on bike is 10 miles. some of that was walking. I have a 18 speed bike now so I'm hoping to be able to go farther. but thus so far that's remains in the future. Getting restarted takes time. But anyone just starting out who is looking for a partner, give me a shout and we can meet in town for a coffee get to know you. Thanks
