I am trying to use honey as my only sweetener. I figure at least it is natural and has more benefits than white sugars and artificial sweeteners. It has take some getting used to but I think I am doing good.

So if you have never heard of Bountiful Baskets you are missing out. But I ordered a basket last weekend and have vowed to eat it all. So that really means upping my fruit and veggie in take (which is not really a bad thing). So far I have been doing great! I love the Pears that are perfect and the romaine lettuce for salads. I can't wait to make the asparagus tonight and then steam green beans tomorrow. I have banana's and yellow honeydew melon to keep it interesting. I love Bountiful Baskets and hope you will look to see if you have a site in your area!


Feeling better but Tired

I got some medicine from the doctor and am finally feeling a little more normal. Now it is Monday and I still didn't get anything done. Now it is time to get back on track and get in gear. I avoided weighing myself this week because I knew it wouldn't be good (I swear I can feel when my tummy fills out). So I will do better this week and weigh on Sunday.

  This virus thing going around is no fun... have had it for over 2 weeks now. Main thing is, don't beat yourself up and get back on track as soon as you feel better. Good luck.

Now I have a sinus infection. I am not sleeping well and am just so tired. I went to the doctors yesterday and will hopefully feel better soon.

I have come to the conclusion that I am just too lazy. I don't want to prepare my meals and I just want to sit on the couch when I get home. I am more than willing to get off my duff if my husband mentions going out to eat though. I have to change the way I think and find some way to get more energy. I know working out should give you more but I just don't feel that way. At a minimum I do a couple hours of exercise a week but am not active everyday. I just need to figure out a way to make this all work!

    I recently heard someone say, "don't think about it, just do it!" Don't think about how much you DON'T like to workout. Just do it! Don't think about it! I find it's hard not to weigh the options, or contemplate every little thing, what I should or shouldn't eat, I just planned and did it. You can do it!
