35 pounds lost!

It has been a long time since I have posted on here! I got way off track for a long time and gained a LOT of weight. I decided to finally change my life FOR GOOD! I just under 3 months I have lost 35 pounds! Today I was trying on dresses, and it felt great when I could comfortably fit into a 2x dress! I am beyond proud of myself for how far I have come!
The difference is huge! :)

Vitamins and Supplements- Opinions please!

Hello, I am currently taking multiple supplements. I need to know if it is healthy to be taking all of these.

Daily Multi-Vitamin
Garlic Capsule
Valerian Root (1-3 at night time)
St. John's Wort (3 times a day) (Natural Mood Stabilizer)
Cayenne Capsules (3 times a day)
Birth Control

Is it okay to be taking all of these each day?
Please give me honest opinions! THANKS!

Well, you need to take everything you are taking to the pharmacist and let them check it out. They should be able to help more than anyone. Hugs, Judy

    If you don't have a doctor, then go talk to the pharmacist where you get your birth control. Take the bottles with your supplements with you so that they can check what the actual ingredients are. They'll know the exact prescription of your birth control and will be able to tell you if there are any issues with what you're taking.

    Please consult either your doctor or your pharmacist to see if there is any problem with this mix. St. John's Wort, valerian, and garlic have all been shown to counteract various other medications, and could be impacting your birth control. Best to check with the experts to be sure!

    OK!!!! Glad to see you again. This is "OUR" Summer. We are going to get on track with a Healthy Life Style. I know you and I can do this. You will put me to shame I know because you are so much younger. I am so proud of you because you are doing this at your age. You Go Girl!!!! I JUST GOT OVER BEING VERY SICK WITH A VERY BAD VIRUS. I am back in to the swing of things now. So glad you have an exercise friend. You look great. it does not look like you have gained any in your face. That is great. OK, let's get going. See you tomorrow. I am doing Water aerobics and a Senior Fitness excerise class three times a week. Now that it is warmer I will get to do for each day. There is not a Gym here that has a pool with it. I have to pay a monthly fee to use the College pool and it only has certsain times of the week days you can use it. You are really lucky to have the Gym with the pool. I got to stop now. I am so excited about you. (LOL) Hugs, Judy

    Sounds great you are really on the move. They say that we need to eat something within ten minutes from getting up so our body will start burning calories correctly. get not too hungry so I drink a high protein low carb drink for my breakfast. I get it from Wal Mart it is EAS Advant it has 17 grams. of protein and very little sugar and It is milk free. It seems to help me get going in the mornings. I also use for a snack every now and then. I do 6 to 7 small meals and it really keeps me going and do the exercises that I need to do in order to burn the fat. I stay high in protein and seems to help me not eat so much. Everyone is different. It has been proven that we can't cut down too many calories and still continue to lose weight. At first you will lose but your body will go into starvation mode. When that happen you will not see much weight lost. Remember this is a life style change.
so happy to see you on the go and trying again. You can do this life style change and not have to worry about being over weight the rest of your life. So glad you are here and can gleam from others. You are so young and i am so proud of you for doing this at your age.

    Glad you are feeling better about yourself. Looks like you are doing the right things to help yourself. Yea! I am hanging in there. Things are going slow but I am still trying.
I do 5 exercise classes per week and I track my foods everyday. I am down from a size 24 to size 18 W. I do feel a lot better than I did. you can do this. Keep on keeping on. I look forward to seeing your vblogs. So good the see you again.
