Well it actually went quite better than expected. So today I didn't have fish but shreded beef instead and even a bit of turkey ham instead, but hey I was very hungry and my mom kindly brought me some beef and rice, so who was I to say no, plus I started my period yesterday (my third challenge day) so I was weaker willed and grumpier than usual... also, I was expecting to go over my calories and everything else and getting back on track today (saturday) because a friend came back to visit from canada for the weekend and we were going out tonight, and she wanted to go for pizza and drinking...
Anyways, even though I traded fish for beef it was just a bit, and I tried to keep everything low in expectance of the night. So night came, and Jocelyn (my friend) actually ended up choosing a spinach and goat cheese veggie specialty pizza which actually worked for my benefit instead of the usual peperoni I was expecting, and it was very good!. I passed on the drinks though and just had water, and had a bit of some cheese fries that they ordered as well but very little, and just stayed for dinner and skiped on the bar afterwards.
So how did it end? well I managed to stay within my calories! I just updated it this morning! I was so proud! and surprised as well!, I ended with 1344 calories, 144 carbs, 54 fat, and 55 protein, which leaves me right in the middle of my range from calories, just 2 under my high limit of fat but within my limit, and just a little under on both protein and carbs. I am definitely glad I survived eating out with my friends :).
Anyway, even though I substituted my protein I managed to do it for 3 full days, and it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be, though it was quite hard still. I was very dissapointed though when the scale went up on both the first and second day from 136.6, to 136.8 even though I had been eating well and working out harder than ever, burning like 500 calories each day!(a first for me, quite a personal accomplishment too, and being thanks to my first and second time doing 30 min on the elliptical). I am thinking part of it is because of me starting my period so I must be holding some water and am a bit bloated, so hopefully I'll show a bit more of a drop after I'm done with it, that's what I'm hoping though. This morning however I did drop a bit to 135.6, so that gives me a bit of hope with that theory :).
I'll try to work out a bit today even though I'm in pain from stupid cramps even if it's just a bit around the house, and try to stay healthy.

well, today actually has been quite a bit better than yesterday, I've been less hungry, or not hungry as often (though that might have something to do with the fact that I had 2 bowls of cereal in the morning...) but overall been doing much better. The scale didn't go down today, in fact it went up by .6 to 136.6, it's supposed to go the other way!, oh well, I just hope it will work out. I made myself workout extra hard today (hopefully that'll help offset it and break the freaking plateau!) and found that I could actually do 31 min in the elliptical! and it wasn't that bad! like I didn't feel like passing out after or anything! granted I was quite a bit tired... I was definitely proud of that, I've never done so much at once, my usual is 15-17 min, and my max was one time I did 23 and that was because I was very distracted watching some guys practicing martial arts in the window across from me :), so that's definitely something. I'm going to try and duplicate the 30 min tomorrow ;)

today I started a self imposed 3 day challenge(I'll think about making it a 5 day if it goes well). I will be eating only fruits and vegetables, except for 1 portion of fish a day for 3 days, it is my way of trying to get back on track after being quite off it and gaining 3 lbs back for 10 days...more like two weeks actually... so here I go! so far today: banana, 1 cup of fruit salad in mango juice!, 1 cod fillet and green beans, 1 sugar free jell-o, yummy, and quite a bunch of classic romaine salad with light ranch, all of that food and I'm still under 800 cal. let's see how I fair the rest of the day though, next I'm attacking the strawberries! I think I might need to go grocery shopping after I get off work tonight, I found out that since I'm not really having much protein, I've been having to eat a lot more of everything, for example I've eaten more lettuce today than I've eaten in the past two weeks!(granted I've been ignoring my veggies, but still!) I just hope it works out

Well, I've been doing a bit better, my knee is pretty much completely fine now after a weekend's rest so I've done a little bit of a workout yesterday, and yoga and tennis(both classes I'm taking) today and I feel a lot better now, this morning I was at 136 too, so even though it's still higher than my tracker says, I feel like I'm moving on the right direction again and I'm glad. Later today I'm going out with a friend and he wants to go out to eat, I'm a bit worried about that, so far today I'm up to about 800 calories, which ussually would be fine, there's plenty enough for a good dinner, but restaurants tend to pack the calories even in the smallest of portions. My plan is to check the menu beforehand, god I hope they're online...
Also, I am 5 days away from my two month mark at sparkpeople, and I got an idea that I've been thinking about doing for a little while now, after I read it somewhere a while before. So what I'm going to do, probably not for all 5 days since it would be very tough, but want to do at least 3 days in a row, starting tomorrow, is to eat all fruit and vegetables all day for 3 days, allowing myself one serving of fish each day, whether for lunch or for dinner (did you realize cod has 41 g of protein in one fillet? I was very surprised yesterday! after I added cod for the first time) ok, so starting tomorrow I'll eat pretty much nothing but fruit and vegetables and my hope is to catch up to my tracker by the 20th or beat it hopefully even by a little bit, that would make my day. I just hope I can stick to it since I've never done anything like this and have always been a meat and potatoes loving girl... I already have some fruit salad made and that can serve for breakfast for tomorrow and the day after at least. Wish me luck everyone!

ok, so I've had quite a few things in my mind lately and have been distracted from sparkpeople lately, when beforehad I didn't miss a day checking it! I haven't tracked many things and now it shows, I am actually back at 137 which means I've gained 3 pounds back, and I hate it, immensely, I was doing so well!, so I started working out again this week, and yesterday morning I was running and my knee started to hurt, but hey I figured it wasn't too bad so I kept running... it was killing me by the time I was done, so I went home and got my knee brace (i've hurt my knee before, though I hadn't had to wear this thing in like 2 or 3 years!) and wore it the rest of the day, it helped a bit and after resting it some more, this morning it was doing much better.
I skipped tennis this morning, I told her I hurt my knee this morning instead of yesterday (I'm taking a couple of fitness classes this quarter to make myself work out), so It's a small lie, but hey I did hurt it, just the day before, and if I went I knew I would try to play a little and end up hurting it worst. So, Im taking the day off from the gym today, but I'm starting to track my food again, and tomorrow I'll do some cardio on the eliptical, which doesn't have much impact at all, so it should be fine. I just want to get back on track of loosing weight, it's so dissapointing to have gained weight back... oh well, nothing more I can do I guess.
Oh! I almost forgot, Thank you everybody for all your support!!! I really do appreciate it!
