I received my new, medium resistance band in the mail from Amazon.com yesterday and last night I went through a couple SP resistance workouts on Youtube. I primarily bought this band because I don't want to use weights and they help to tone the body.
Well, I'm sure it works because the workout I did yesterday had gotten intense. I learned some techniques that increases and decreases resistance. If you want more weight, the band has to be made tighter...the closer you hold the band down to the handles the more resistance you get.
I took my time and did each set. I worked my abs, biceps, triceps, calf (sp?), inner and outer thighs and my lower back. I like this!!!! I'm glad I picked the medium and not the heavy band because it would have been too advanced for me.
I have made a goal to do resistance, upper and lower body each night along with my 100 situps I have yet to do starting tonight and I will track it. I will also do my measurements every Friday which includes my bust, waist, thigh, arm and hip. Here are my measurements from today.
25 - thigh
34.5 - waist (I want a smaller waist! - who doesn't ? right? lol)
39 - bust
42.5 - hips
13 - arm
