Weight Loss & Clothing Size Goals Met...

Tuesday, March 31, 2009 of March 28, 2009! I'm in a size 8 and haven't been a size 8 since the 6th grade! Awesome! I fit 8's perfectly at White House | Black Market. Cheese!

I really hate traditional cardio, but I love to run. I won't have to do so much cardio anymore because I have no weight to drop. I can just focus on leaning out and building muscle. Sweet! I ordered The Zone Diet book because I need extra help and direct information as to how to put together my food intake percentages, for example 30/20/20 = carbs/protein/fat. With that being said, I'm incorporating South Beach (my first love), The Eat-Clean Diet and The Zone Diet altogether.

I found out (during the past 38 weeks since I changed my life) that I don't want to be a marathoner, I don't want to be a triathlete and that I don't want to be a competitor. I just want to look incredible, be able to lift heavy and show my gunz off everywhere I go! Ha! I want to live to wear bikinis on the beach and fled dex....THAT'S IT!!!

Anyway, I love to run and do circuit training with Jillian so that will stay. Also, I will keep IMAX3 on the list because Cathe's circuits kill too - I'll do her step aerobics when I get bored or something. I need to learn how to tuck jump for real and Cathe will teach me. I will also start doing barbell cleans and snatches in my back yard this summer - those are my favorite exercises which means I have to get a 100lb olympic barbell to play around with out there.

Life is good!

How's the Zone Diet going for you? Do you have the Eat Clean Diet book? I'm really trying harder to eat cleaner most of the time. I'm slowly making progress. I want to lean myself out and build muscle! I want to love my stomach!!

Garmin Day 1, Week 1 C25K Training

Monday, January 19, 2009

Today I used my Garmin on my Day 1, Week 1 of C25K and I set it up for time/rest/time...five minute warm-up....I made it through most of the intervals. I stopped the clock at 25:09 and the Garmin told me that I ran 1.61 miles and I burned 165 calories...sweet! I haven't figured out how to set it up for doing cardio from a DVD yet, but I better get to it because that's tomorrow.

I love my Garmin. I just have to find out how to use to upload my daily result so I can make reports. So much to learn! This little device is amazing!

My Garmin Arrived...

Friday, January 16, 2009 and I think I love it! I have it on my wrist and I'm currently going through the manual. My best friend, who works with me, ordered with me so we both have one. We are so excited! I get to see the calories I actually burn everyday. This gadget will be treated like my scale...GOD!

I love my Garmin 305. I used it so much last year that I had to start deleting my old runs, because the memory filled up.

I want to buy a foot pod so that I can use it indoors on a track.

My girlfriend has a beloved Garmin. She says it is important not to let it get wet, even from your own sweat - wristbands are required! She adores her Garmin. What a cool acquisition!

According to the big time Runners over at Runner's World forums...the Garmin 305 is the best. Retail is 300, wholesale at Costco it's half.

Transitioning ain't easy...

Monday, January 12, 2009

...transitioning is not easy. Once you achieve one goal you must move on to achieve another. Since the weight is off I'm going to be edit all of my current plans and start working on a cutting program for myself. I need to firm up and sculpt and it's what I plan on doing.

I'm going to follow Krista's plan from since she's a girl and she caters to women's weight lifting. She's truly an inspiration to me and I thank the Fitness Gods for her because I think I've learned so much. I'm hoping this transition will go smoothly.

Wish me luck guys! Also, I find it hard to eat 2000 calories a day so I have to find some foods high in fiber, protein, good fats and calories to eat. I'm off to surf now.
