So I took the leap and tried cross-fit. The instructor was nice and he made me feel ok with my lack of upper body strength. Using a very large green strap, I was able to eeek out 3 pull ups and 3 tricep dips. I completed the word out of the day (WOD) which consisted of burpees, long jumps and squats. I went home and soaked in a hot bath and some Epsom salts. Worked wonders for my legs, my shoulders were still quite sore.
Today I returned after a day off for another round. I managed some modified push-ups and three more assisted pull ups, did 10 wall to ball throws ( 10lb) and some squats. For the WOD I completed three sets 11, 5, 3 of squat cleans ( 35 lbs) and tricep dips. I am already seeing progress on the dips. I cant squeeze in another work out this week.
