Last week lost a pound

This is a small victory, but I will take it. After being stuck in place for a month, last week I lost a pound. This is based on my daily averages, so I feel it is real. I hope I can do it again this week.

Baby steps

Today I pushed out 2 miles in 27.4 minutes. I am most proudnof the fact that I ran 1/4 mile at a time with brisk walks in between. Last month I could barely run 1/10 of a mile. Next month I will make it to 1/2.

New set of goals

This is the only place I would confess this, but after hovering around the 200 pound mark for a while, I finally hit 206 last year. This year I renewed my commitment to exercise and a better diet in January and got down to 201. I fell off the wagon in March and I am not at 203. I hit it hard last month but I am stuck at 203. This month I have decided that it is time to say good bye to 200. I will do better with my diet and and a 4th workout to my schedule.

Not my best, but progress

I didn't want to run today, I had a fun party weekend out of town and I am still recovering. However I dragged myself to the gym and put in 3 miles on the treadmill (15 min/mile). Considering how tired I was I now know I should never run less than 15min/mile when I am better shape.

Slow and steady wins the race

Week three and I am still trucking along. I ran 4 miles at a personal best of 58 minutes!

I have not lost any weight yet but my stamina is definitely improving.
