I am picking up the pace.
I must say, I am pretty proud of the fact that I have been active nearly everyday since January 2, 2012. I have been doing a number of different activities from Wii Fit, to Jillian Michael's Wii games and other games on the Wii. I bought Coach Nicole's 28 day boot camp DVD just in time for the weather to improve and for me to move my workouts outside so I haven't used that DVD too much. I signed up for the Spring Into Shape Bootcamp and completed three of the four weeks. (I went on vacation and was only able to walk while I was gone) I recently purchased a very nice treadmill and will be using that in addition to my regular outside walking. I have participated in a 5K walk and actually won my age group. I have another 5K scheduled in a couple months that I am looking forward to. I also will be playing softball starting next week. (My favorite sport by the way)
So, as you can see, my 10 minutes of activity per day has increased. I work two jobs and have just decided that my health and fitness is just as important as my work if not more. I am having a blast getting back in shape. Maybe the pounds that I want to lose will start to fade away too.
My mantra is... Just keep moving.
