Psalm 70:1 Make haste, O GOD, to deliver me; make haste to help me, O LORD.
I've been feeling some what low the past few days. I really don't know why. It just seemed like the last few days were so disorganized and nothing went right. I had computer problems again. Then my provider service went out for hours. I got behind on everything I did. We went shopping for shoes yesterday evening. The store was a shoe warehouse. Very big! My husband and I wanted good walking shoes. I did some research, but saw nothing there that I had viewed in my research. Nothing was labeled walking shoes, so we didn't know what we were looking at. There was not one sales person to be seen. After an hour I began to hurt all over. I went up front and ask the cashier if they had any sales personal to help us. He had to call them out of the back. Finally, a young man came over and he was packing an attitude to boot. Pardon the pun. He says, "What do you want?" That took me back a little. I politely explained to him both my husband and me needed a good walking shoe. I said that the shoes we were using blistered our feet. We needed something that would keep our feet cooler and would be comfortable. Now my husband happen to be standing in front of some black leather New Balance Shoes and the guys points at those and said this is what you need. Those are our best walking shoe and walked off. The shoes he pointed to hardly had any ventilation. I told my husband I wasn't so sure about it. I went to the ladies section where I looked and looked. Same thing again. I saw the salesman not far away chatting and laughing with a lady. So I headed over toward him to ask for help again. When he saw me coming he grab a buggy and went the other direction toward the back. My husband finally came over to help me look. I tired on different shoes and nothing fit. By now 2 hours had passed and I was in full raging pain. I had to finally sit on a fitting bench. I told my husband that I want to leave. It was almost closing time anyway. Would you believe we had a salesperson to come over. But she wanted to clean up her aisle. She suggested that I go to the men's section to find a pair of shoes. My mouth dropped open. I wear 7.5 wide. My husband said, 'Well let's go over there and look you never know.' Of course everything was to big. Guess what another salesperson showed up. He wanted to know if we found what we needed. Just about that time an announcement come over the intercom, "Customer it is closing time please bring your purchases to the front." The salesperson was there to rush us. I was so aggravated. We were suppose to get our walk in at the next door mall, but no new shoes, so no walking. My blisters had gotten even bigger. We didn't find any moleskin to cover our blister. So today I was in the dumps. I am having so much trouble getting around on my feet today. I am making a point to ask the LORD specifically where to go this time. I ask HIM to help me find good shoes. Where we went obviously wasn't the place to find them. I told my husband we are going to a good store tomorrow to get shoes. Tomorrow with the LORD"s help I am getting that walk in. Amen! By the way I looked the shoes that salesman sold my husband for the best walking shoes. They are Crosstrainer Shoes. We are taking them back. lol You know something I actually feel much better.
