I have started trying to incorporate the stairs at work on a daily I took the stairs from the 2nd to the 6th floor (where I work) and then later from ground to the 6th floor. I start to peter out @ about the 4th floor but just kept pushing!

    Thanks for the support! I have slacked off a little bit..but actually did the stairs UP yesterday and kept going! I did slow down a little bit between the 5th and 6th floors but did not have to stop for a breather! Although, it was not easy either!

A new year, a new start

OK..I believe I am finally motivated again!! The scale reads 197.50 and has for about a week already! I am not quite sure what I am doing as I honestly have not made alot of healthy changes, except for perhaps the weight loss shakes/smoothies I will drink when I get up as opposed to eating a breakfast. I have set a goal to be @ approx 150lbsor less around the end of July 2012. My journey has started and am very motivated by the fact that I can buy and wear 1x (and sometimes large) tops, and have actually bought jeans! I finally found the ones that have some stretch that can fit me and accomodate my belly, without having to search out maternity jeans - which end up really baggy in the butt! I promise to be better in my food tracking too, and am very open to suggestions, comments and advice from other members! I am ready to be thin & healthy!!

weigh-in today at Curves..209.50! I don't know when the last time my body has done that to a scale! It has been a long, long time!

Bust 44 9/08-47.00
Waist 43 9/08-45.00

Weight 209.50 231.00
Body Fat % 40.00 (finally some significant movement here!)
BMI 32.81 (was 37.51 9/22/08 when started Curves Smart)

total weight loss 21.50 lbs
total inches lost 18.50!

6/4..last Fri was 220, Monday was 219..and yesterday was 216.75! I think my new habit of nibbling on almonds during the day at work has something to do with it! That's the only real change I have made! I wish I knew for sure to make sure I keep it up!

    thank you! I have missed your encouraging words..although I guesss it would help if I was more consistent in posting!

I love 'stachios too (!), they are just a little out of my budget now! I have TONS of coupons for almonds!

The scale is down, again!! Today it was 212.75..I keep staring and cannot believe. I even get on the scale at home to make sure it is for real! I can tell my abdomen is a little flatter, and can now wear XL clothes in comfort instead of XXL - although now, with as hot as it is, the looseness in t-shirts is nice. I may be able to make my (mind) goal of 200 for my nephew's wedding July 25, and under 200 by county Fair in Aug!! emoticon

Wow! I did not realize it has been this long since I posted..sorry!
Anyhow, it is good news! I don't know what happened here..except that maybe my discovery of almonds has made a difference..that, and jellybeans to subdue hunger, are the only changes I have really made!

Weight: 222.50 (although I weighed today and it was 221.50!!)

Waist 44 (-1.00) prbly shld be more but I have been drinking alot of pop

lost pounds 6.75 (of body fat!!)
