Didn't get time to blog yesterday as was just so busy...went for my run yesterday and this morning, took the dog as usual for his morning walk.
The weather was lovely yesterday if somewhat cloudy so we went for a ride out to Squires Bar and Cafe, Sherburn in Elmet, Leeds, we stopped off at J&S in Doncaster. I felt a bit off colour when I got back so I went to bed for a couple of hours. Went out in the evening for a couple of friends and had one alcoholic drink, but managed to stay in range of calories....phew!! No more alcohol for this week now.
Getting into this exercising, loving the cross trainer been on it a few times. Stayed within calorie rang today again and ate better too. My doggie is getting worse so really worried about him.
Did my weigh in this morning I've lost another lb and inches too, so I am getting there, slowly but slowly. Haven't done much with my week off...oh well, the weather has been atrocious so I'll blame that

Went for a run this morning, not run for a few days and did quite well I thought, took the dog for his morning walk, then went swimming for a hour then had a 20 min sauna.
We was going to go for a bike ride this afternoon or have a game of badminton about 4pm but they didn't have any courts free at the sports centre as they had a marshal arts tournament on, then a friend came over on his motorcycle to tighten his rear spindle as it wasn't tight enough and then he stayed, kind of glad he did because about 3am the heavens opened, it thundered and lightened and hail stoned so hard it set the car alarm off, so glad we didn't get caught out in it.
Stayed within calorie intake and met nearly all my set daily goals again, apart from alcohol.
So apart from exercising not much achieved today...oh well, there's always tomorrow

I've had a bit of a lazy day today, stayed in bed til 7.30, but had a healthy breakfast then took the dog for his morning walk, ran some errands that have been needing my attention for some time.
Been so tired today, so I had an afternoon kip, after the aftermath of my daughters prom, running around like a headless chicken all week, being woke up by a phone call at 10pm last night to say she wanted me to pick her up from outside of school at 12.45am, then bringing her back to mine so she could get changed and then dropping her off back at her boyfriends when she'd finished, so not only did I have a disturbed night but when I finally got home and climbed back into bed I couldn't get back to sleep so I read for an hour, it must have been about 3am when I eventually dozed off.
I was going to skip doing any exercise or activity today but I just couldn't shake that tired feeling and it's been throwing it down all day, so about tea time when the rain finally stopped we went for a brisk walk along the canal, it's just what I needed.
I've managed to stay within range of my calorie intake again, I've met most of my goals apart from the alcohol I had a glass of cider again tonight but I intend on exercising hard tomorrow.

Oh blimey!! Another busy day, all I seem to be doing is rushing around these days and getting no where fast.
Gym for a hour this morning, cross trainer, treadmill, weight machines and rowing machine, then swimming for a hour and sauna for 20 mins. Walked the dog before \i went to gym and when I got home too.
It's my daughters prom night tonight so picked her up just before lunch to have her hair done, then into town to have make up done and back home for pizza and to get ready, even though I say so myself she looked absolutely stunning.
Hubby picked up my cross trainer today so now I have no excuses not to do any exercising

I am a person that doesn't like to wear a jacket or a jumper when I'm exercising or afterwards when I'm all hot and bothered but my hubby said it's not good to go uncovered after doing any kind of exercise as this can cause injury or strain to muscles as they start to cool down to quickly, how true is this?
I don't know a lot about exercising the pros' and cons' of warming up and cooling down, I stretch before and afterwards as this stops my muscles from hurting too much later or the next day, plus I enjoy the stretching, I also like Yoga and the breathing techniques but I'm still learning about doing strenuous exercise, what's good and what's not, I still have a lot of learning to do, I am trying to read some articles but their are so many I don't really get time to read many. It would be interesting to find out what benefits keeping your muscles warm after exercising has if any.
On an up note I did my run again this morning, spent most of the day running around after my daughter again for her preparations for the prom, hopefully tomorrow will be the last day for all of that
Took the dog out 3 times today, he's starting to feel the effects of his illness because he's slowed right down for his walking towards the end but we'll just have to wait and see, I don't think he'll be long now. Went to see my mummy, it's her birthday today so I bought her a big bouquet of flowers, she doesn't go out now as she's not very good, she has a number of ailments and illnesses but she keeps digging her heels in and getting on with it.
We went climbing again this evening for an hour, OMG!! I really felt it after doing lots of swimming yesterday but I pushed through the pain barrier and had a really good climb.
I've managed to eat healthily again today and didn't have any chocolate, cakes or anything apart from half a glass of cider which I tracked, I've stayed within range of everything, goals have been met. Another good day....long may it reign
