I spent most of the day today at the hospital with my daughter and waited while she had her knee operation, it was successful, the good news is that her cartledge is intact and didn't need to be removed, the surgeon just removed the cyst.
When I finally got home, I got changed and managed to go for a run along the canal, it was lovely and peaceful even though it was raining.
I've managed to stay within calorie range on my tracker despite having a baked potato for lunch at the hospital but I did have cottage cheese and coleslaw with it and no butter.
Just trying to warm up now after my wet run

Wasn't really in the mood today to go to the gym this morning, mainly because I kept having a pain in my right side close to my hip, at first I thought it might be appendicitis but realised that it was probably something to do with my bowel.
I did drag myself to the gym, I did manage my 2hr workout as usual and I felt so much better afterwards, I actually felt like I'd achieved something and the pain stayed away until half way through my powerbike workout, (I think it was because I was hunched over) luckily it was the last one but I kept going until the end.
I'm still getting it but it's not as often or quite as painful, hopefully it'll have gone by tomorrow, no workout planned for tomorrow as I'm at the hospital with my daughter while she has a knee operation, thankfully it's early in the morning so we shouldn't be in too late, I'm going to need lot's of inspirational reading material I think.

Today I had scheduled a rest day as hubby had the car and was in Nottingham all morning on business.
I didn't get up until 9.30am, had a healthy breakfast, run a nice bubble bath for a soak and a read, it was lovely.
When hubby got back we went shopping it was absolutely chaotic in the store but managed to fight our way through the throngs of avid shoppers without losing it, took it home unpacked it and then decided to go out for Sunday lunch to the Toby Carvery, it was really busy there too. However I was a good girl loaded my plate with mainly veg and a couple of slices of turkey breast, I really enjoyed it and I also tracked it and it wasn't as bad as I thought.
Afterwards we decided to go for a leisurely walk around Bakewell to work off some of the lunch we had just consumed, it wasn't as busy there as it was getting on in the afternoon, we did however stop for an ice-cream but I only had a small one, I totally enjoyed it and savoured every lick as I know I won't be having another one for quite some time, I also tracked that and it was still within my range.
We walked hand in hand along the river, watching the ducks, geese and swans...it was quite romantic, I bought a small back pack for when I only want to take some water and sweat towel for my pilates and yoga classes.
We had a steady drive home and cuddled up on the sofa to watch a dvd, it's been such a lovely rest day

Did 2 hr 20 mins at the gym this morning, tired but elated for doing a bit more of my workout.
Had a lovely healthy lunch before going back to work.
Walked to the gym later for my yoga class and then walked back home almost, hubby met me half way home and gave me a lift back.
Stayed within range on nutrition tracker.
The tops of my legs and side of my buttocks really hurt through all this exercise, so going to have a nice hot bath and early to bed I think.
