Had an old friend see me today and they said "wow, you look good! How much weight have you lost?" I said, I have lost 50lbs. then the next question was, how much were you in high school? I had to think for a minute, I weighed 315lbs in 1995 for senior high football.
made me start thinking, ooh my I'm 319 right now, and I was 315 in high school. so now i can start saying, 5 more lbs to my high school weight. wow that is so cool, I cant believe I haven't noticed that I was so close, so NEW mini goal. . . . . 5more lbs to high school weight!! and then treating me to something good!

got home late last night, went straight to my room put on my running clothes and my gymboss set it for 1min/2min and headed out the door. it was 727pm and I hit start, walked for a minute and then it beeped 2 minutes of jogg/running here I go. I have mapped out a route in my car that is 2 miles, so here I go on my two mile walk/run, I have hills, curves and train tracks. well I'm half way threw my run and just as I finsh my 2mins and get to walk my next minute, the train is comming, so I had to jogg my next minute so I wouldnt have to stop and wait for the train to pass, lol. ended up with a time of 24 minutes for my two miles, whoo hoo, 12 min miles. I am still pumped up about it, and I cant wait fore tonight!

just filled out the paperwork for me and my 3 kids to run the Big Damn Bridge 5K on July 9th at 730pm, run up the bridge across, and down the other side turn around, run back up back across, and back down. The kids are so excited, they can't wait. Me on the other hand, Im not so excited about running up a bridge, but we gonna have some fun I guess!

its my call weekend at the hospital so I cant go to far in case I'm called in. It must be like 100 outside , so I really don't want to go anywhere anyway lol. I think tonight I have talked my wife into walking with me and going to walk two miles when it cools down a little, then jump in the pool all hot and sweaty from our 2 mile walk. Going to try to do laps in the pool until i cant do anymore, supposed to be real good for you, I need to drop 1 more pound so I can officially say I have lost 50lbs. maybe 2miles and swimming until i cant swim no-more will do the trick, wish me luck.
