Hello my SP Family.
You may have noticed that I haven't been on a lot this week. I have some life issues going on at home and they are taking a lot of my time to deal with. I hope to get them in order soon. But until then, please forgive me if I take a while to get back to you.
Please keep me in your prayers.

Hello and Praise the Lord!
Welcome my friends to another Memory Verse for the Week. Glad you could join us!
We come before You giving You all Glory, Honor and Praise. We thank You for another opportunity to share in Your Word. Please bless me with Your wisdom as I share Your word with my brothers and sisters in Christ.
I thank You in Jesus Name
This week's verse comes to us from Romans 5:6
"For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly."
"When we were without strength". What a powerful and true statement. What were we before we had Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. Romans 5:8 tells us "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."
We were dirty. filthy sinners. Dirty rags, open graves, destined to an eternal life of torment in hell! Oh yes, that is true of everyone of us. No matter what we did in life to show ourselves approved, it was no good. Nothing we could have done would have saved us. We had no power, we had no strength to save our selves.
But in due time, Christ died for us, the ungodly. And we didn't even have a say in what time we would be saved, because in the due time was God's time, according to His Plan for our salvation. God looked down on His dirty ragged children and said it is time to save them from themselves. So He sent the only true and worthy sacrifice to cleanse the world of all of it sins! Jesus Christ came to die for the "ungodly". Not for the good people because there were none. Not for just me or you or our church or our own people. He came to die for us all that we may live forever in Heaven with Him. And not spend the rest of time in everlasting torment!
Now sit back and let that soak in for a minute. In this week alone, we have we done to deserve God's wrath? By our very thoughts alone, we should be condemned to hell. But because of the Blessed Blood of our Savior, we are free from the bondage of sin and death! Hallelujah, Thank You Jesus! Our sins past, present and future are forgiven us! Now, we have Power through the Name of Jesus. We have strength through the Holy Spirit who Christ sent to us and who now dwells in us. We are no longer weak but strong in Christ! Thank You Father God for saving us through Your Son, Jesus Christ.
The Holy Spirit Lead me to this verse because someone needs to hear this. Whoever you are who is this, know that you are no longer without strength. You are no longer alone in this journey. God has looked upon you and has deemed you worthy! If you are reading this and you know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, then you are saved and you know you are mighty and strong bu the blood of the Lamb. But if you don't know Him, then this is a call to you! You don't have to be alone. You don't have to be scared. And you don't have to live in your sins any longer. Jesus says He knocks at the door. And He is waiting for you to invite him in. Let Jesus be the Lord of your life. He died for you and for me and He wants no one to be lost. Come and let Him be your strength.

Good day and praise the Lord.
Welcome to the Memory Verse for the Week. Thank you for coming by.
Father God I pray that Your Word a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path today. May we all be blessed by the reading and the studying of it.

This week's message comes from Isaiah 50:4:
"The Lord GOD hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary: he wakeneth morning by morning, he wakeneth mine ear to hear as the learned."
The study of God's Word is not only a good thing but a necessary thing for a child of God. God gives us a wonderful gift through His Word. By knowing His Word, we can use the Word to give peace to a weary soul. We can teach a person about the saving Grace of Jesus Christ through His Word. We can instruct a new believer in the ways of Christ through the Word. And we can also rebuke a wayward brother or sister in Christ through the Word of God. 2 Tim 3:16 tells us: " All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,". So in order to use the Word for these things, we must study the Word.
Now I am not saying that we should all be Bible scholars, but reading the Bible daily will make you stronger in your daily walk with God because you are taking in His Word every time you read the Word. You are actually reading God's own Word! Isn't that awesome?! Praise His Name!
I want to be like Isaiah, Every morning I want my ear to be inclined to hear from God. I want to wake morning by morning hungry for a message from God! And beside speaking to the Father in prayer, the best way to hear from God is through His Word, the Bible.
I believe God give me this Word today because we are in the last days and if you look around, there are many false doctrines or teaching coming from many false teachers. And unless you know your Bible, how will you know what is true? In Hosea 4:6 God tells the people, "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children. " . Without knowledge of God's Word we are basically saying we do not need God's Word. We can do this on our own and by neglecting the study of His Word, we open ourselves to be destroyed by the enemy.
So I ask you brothers and sister, isn't it worth turning off the TV for 30 min a day or closing the laptop for a little while and just sit and listen to Our Father through His Word? You work your bodies everyday and you get stronger, so work your spirits everyday and watch how stronger your relationship with the Father becomes. It is the best workout I know!
Thank you and may God continue to bless you,

In these last days, we are going to hear many false doctrines or false beliefs from false teachers

Hello and Praise the Lord everyone! Welcome again to the memory verse for the week. I am so sorry I am late this week, (again) but I promise to do better. And thank you my friend for the reminder. You know who you are!

This week the verse comes from Matt 11:28:
"Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest."
What I wonderful promise from our Lord Jesus! How many of us are going through the labors of life and those labors start to become heavy burdens to us? Family, jobs, marriage, kids, sickness, and many other of life's many issues can be heavy weights on our shoulders.
When I think of heavy burdens, I always seem to go back the scenes of movies like Roots, or the Ten Commandments where you see men and women with heavy loads on their backs and they are bent over and some big sweaty mean guy is whipping them across the back as the stumble and fall. And that is how it feels sometimes to me when my problems start to pile up on me like one of those great stones the slaves had to move for Pharaoh.
But we have One who will take that burden of off us if we just ask Him to. He will take those burdens and place them at the foot of the cross and give us drinks of living water. He will wipe off all the dirt and grime that we have gathered while lifting those burden and clothe us in white and give us rest and peace from the trials of the world!
Jesus promised us before He went to sit at the right Hand of the Father that He would send us a Comforter. John 14:16 tells us, "And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;"
And the Comforter, who lives in us everyday, is waiting for you to give your care to Him and let him give you comfort and peace and rest.
How many of us stay up all night worrying about how you are going to solve a problem, or how you are going to fix a issue, when we should be going to Christ and giving it all to Him. And we should listen more to the Comforter and let Him bring to our remembrance all of the promises that god has for us. Just like this one. Do you need rest? Let Jesus give it do you. He is the only one that can!
