Hello and praise the Lord. Welcome to the Memory verse of the week. Glad to have you here
Lord God, thank You once again for allowing us to see another week. I pray that You grant me wisdom to share Your Word with my brothers and sister in Christ.
In Jesus Name
This week's verse is from Matt 7:3 "And why do you look at the speck in your brother's eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye?
You know, the other day, someone who I haven't seen in a long time said to me, "Looks like someone gained weight since the last time I seen them", talking about me. But this person seemed to have missed the fact that they too have added more girth since last we met. How could he talk about the plank in my eye, when he had a plank just as big in his eye? I didn't say anything to him about his own plank as I walked away, but I was a little upset over his insensitive remark, but the Holy Spirit convicted me and brought to my remembrance the times when I spoke about the bad things in someone's life while there were still bad things in my life that needed to be addressed. How many times have I over looked the sins in my life while preaching to someone about the unrighteousness in their life?
We have to look in our lives for the things that hold us back or that may be causing us to sin against the Father. We need to work on issues in our families before we can advise someone on trying to raise their children or to fix a marriage. But the most important thing we should remember is that we cannot judge anyone about anything. There is only one Judge and we will all face Him one day. So until then, let us be helpful to one another instead of judgmental and let clear those planks out of our own eyes so we can see the beauty of Christ in the lives of others.

Hello and praise the Lord,
Welcome to another Memory verse for the week. Thank you so much for stopping by.
Father God, I thank You once again for blessing us all to be here today and I pray that You continue to bless us with wisdom and knowledge of your Word.

This week's verse comes from Psalms 40:1. I just love the Psalms as you can see. LOL
40:1 "I waited patiently for the LORD; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry.
One of the hardest things for me to do is to wait patiently for something that I really want or think I deserve. Man, don't you try to hold something from me because I will just go ballistic! I want it and I want it now!
Well that is how I used to be. (Well I still have a little of that in me!) That was before I learned how our Father in Heaven works in our lives. I learned that it is not always about what I want and when I want it. God has a plan for my life that does not always include my plans!
Isaiah 55:8 reminds me, "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.
And realizing that important fact, I now understand that I have to wait on God and do it with patience.
Ps 27:14 says "Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.
What more do we need to hear? All through God's Word we are told to wait and we see that those who waited patiently on the Lord were rewarded for their faith in Him.
Last week I have seen so many of my SP friends write posts about answered prayers. And I know for a fact that some of these requests were a long in coming, but they waited patiently and God inclined His ear to them and answered them. And I know of others who are still waiting to hear from God, but who are waiting in faith knowing that God will answer them according to His Perfect Will.
What are you praying for today? And more importantly, are you waiting with patience on the Lord? If not, then ask God to give you patience and peace to help you wait on Him. And remember that those who wait on Him with never be denied.

This week's verse comes from Psalms 34:19
"Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all."
For many who are going through the trials and tribulations, this verse is a hard one to comprehend. You may say, " I have not been delivered from my afflictions. I am still sick, I am still heart broken, I am still in debt, I am still fighting with my weight. How am I delivered if I am going through all of this?"
It is hard to understand what God is doing in our lives as we go through hardships, but I know that the righteous, those who trust in God when things are rough, those who have faith in His word and his promise, those sing praises to Him when all seem lose, those He will deliver. And to tell the true, you may never be healed of what ails you. You may never be rich and debt free. You may be fighting this weight thing until the last day, but when you, who have been faith and righteous, who have trusted in God and in His Son our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, stand before the throng of God and hear "Enter my good and faithful servant" then all of the things you went through in this life will seem like junk compared to the knowledge of knowing that you are going to spend forever with Christ.
Psalms 30:5 tells us "For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.
In His favor is eternal Life and while we may weep down here in this world of darkness and pain, joy will come in the when we see the Bright and Morning Star, who is Jesus the Christ!
So my friends, give God the glory in whatever start your life is in now. Praise Him through your tears. Because when we are in Heaven with Him, every tear that we shed will be bottled and put in the Lambs Book of life. God said so. Ps 56:8 "Thou tellest my wanderings: put thou my tears into thy bottle: are they not in thy book?
So be of good cheer. God knows your suffering and will take care of you according to His perfect Will.

Hello and praise the Lord my brothers and sisters in Christ. Welcome once again to the Memory verse of the week. I know it has been a while since I have posted this lesson, but I pray that that does not happen again.
Father God, I thank You that I am able once again to give this lesson by Your Grace. Guide my words and my thoughts so that I am speaking through You Lord and may all that read this lesson be blessed as You have blessed me to give it
In Jesus Name I pray
This weeks verse comes from Habakkuk 3:17-18
17 Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls: 18 Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation.
This is a powerful word of faith from this man of God and it is a shining example of how we as believers should live. Especially in this time of uncertainty with the economy and folks losing their livelihood everyday. I know from experience that when times look hard and you don't know where that next bill is coming from, it can become easy to start to worry and wonder if God has forgotten you. Then when you are just about to lose hope, God shows His great love and wisdom! He knows how much we can bear and he doesn't let us have more than we can bear. His Word tells us in 1Co 10:13 "There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it." No matter what we go through and how bad it may seem to us, God gives us a way out of the hardship. And you know what way He gives us? He gives us the way of faith! Without faith we can not please God. Without faith, we are calling God a liar! Faith is us saying, God we trust in You even we we can't see the forest for the trees. We trust You no matter how much pain we are in. We trust You to make a way were we can not see a way! Faith is saying and believing that God is who He says He is!
And over the past couple of weeks, God has shown this to me through His Word and through His children, my friends here at SP! No matter what I may be going through, I have to trust God and continue to do what He has called me to do. And that goes for all of us! God Gives us gifts to do His will and the most important gift is faith, because without faith, none of the other gifts will work!
So my friends, whatever you are going through, remember God is bigger than all of our problems! And he is the joy of our salvation!
Thank you and God Bless you
