James 1:6
But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind.
I had to ask myself this as an episode in my life today caused me to be fearful and doubtful and to tell the truth, down right scared! I mean, I was all anxious and butterflies in the tummy type worried. But God sent a friend to deliver a message to me and that message basically God's Plan's for my life are according to His Will and that no matter what happen with the situation I was going through, it is God Will and His Will is ALWAYS prefect and true!
As I thought about that message during the rest of my day, the Holy Spirit started to bring God's Word beck to my remembrance. And one of the verse that struck me, and it did strike my spirit was James 1:6 "But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind." I began to wonder if my faith was tossed and driven my the rough seas of life. Was I only faithful when the seas were calm? When the storms of life began to rock my boat was I like the disciples who woke Jesus and cried that they were going to perish? And like them, I needed to hear Jesus say to me, " 26But He said to them, "Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?" Then He arose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm." Matt 8:26. When we trust in Jesus and bring Him our storms, He calms them and makes our seas smooth. Now it may not always be to our liking, but it will always be according to His Will.
The Word of God says, "But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him." Heb 11:6 and I know today, I was not very pleasing to Him by my lack of faith, but through repentance and prayer, I know my God forgives me!
I am going to end with this verse because to me it sums up the power and bless of having faith in our Father and His Son, Jesus Christ!
Matt 17:20 "So Jesus said to them, "Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, "Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.". That is so awesome! Do you know how small a mustard seed is? And with that amount of Faith, you can move the mountains that are facing you in life!! Thank You so much Father, for Your blessing and tender mercies and for the faith that You give me everyday. And I know no matter what, You are always with Me and before me to clear my paths and calm my seas.
I thank You Father and give You all the Praise!
In Jesus Name
Amen!

Matt 26:75
And Peter remembered the word of Jesus, which said unto him, Before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice. And he went out, and wept bitterly.
I always read this verse and I think, wow, how Peter must have felt to hear those words from Jesus and to look in His face as He said them. And then to realize that after all the big talk about never denying Christ and even saying he would die with Christ, he denied Him the first time someone accused him of knowing Christ! I guess I would have cried my eyes out too!
But how about you my friend? Have you promised to never deny Christ and to stand with Him and to even die for Him, but at the first sign of upsetting someone or being made to look silly you forget that promise and you turn your back on Him? I know I have from time to time. Maybe it was when the Holy Spirit told me to witness to someone and I didn't because it wasn't PC to do. Or maybe when someone said something about Christ and I didn't stand up and proclaim why I have faith in Christ and explain what the Gospel means to me. Maybe I committed some sin and didn't fully repent of it. There are many times in my life where I have denied Christ and afterward wept bitterly.
But just as the Word of God shows us the weakness in man, it also shows us the power of God's Love! Even after Peter denied Christ, when Christ came back three days after being hung on a cross for us, He restored Peter and told him to feed His sheep. The man that said he didn't know Jesus is now being told BY Jesus to lead and tend to His flock Now if that is not love, I don't know what is!
Christ knows that we have so many issues in our lives that causes us to deny Him on a daily basis but through repentance and Christ's Love, we are forgiven. I know I have to go to Him everyday because of sin, but I thank Him for His Word in 1 John 1:9: "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
So when you deny Jesus or grieve the Holy Spirit, remember, Go to God in prayer and ask for forgiveness and know that Our Father will forgive you because of His Son Jesus Christ and your faith in Him!
Have a bless week in the Lord my friends
In Jesus Name, Amen

Joshua 1:9-11 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.”And Joshua commanded the officers of the people, “Pass through the midst of the camp and command the people, ‘Prepare your provisions, for within three days you are to pass over this Jordan to go in to take possession of the land that the LORD your God is giving you to possess.’”
These verses will be my battle cry for the next couple of months. I am looking to make some big changes in the near future and I know that God is already before me to clear the way, but I need to focus on this verse because the enemy is trying to throw fear and confusion in my way. I have the victory through my Lord and Savior , Jesus Christ. I just need to stand on the firm foundation of the Son of God!
Thank You for the victory Father! In Jesus Name, Amen
