Working out helps my sleep

I've noticed that since I started working out, my sleep had improved from 6 hours a night to up to 10 hours a night! I feel so much calmer. I recommend working out to anyone having trouble sleeping.


Sleep Journal - Day 5

Thursday, April 28, 2011

Went to bed at 10 pm. Got up at 4:00 to go to the bathroom. Went back to bed and slept until 7:30. 10 hours sleep! I've never slept so well in my life.

Things I did yesterday:

Full body workout for 45 min.
Folic acid

I believe the workouts are what is helping me the most.

Went to bed at 11 pm, awakened at 2 am, went to the bathroom. Went back to bed and awakened at 7:30 a.m. 8.5 hours sleep is good for me.

Yesterday I took my folic acid, my multivitamin, Omega 3, and calcium before bed.

Yesterday I started my walk/jog 5K program.

Tuesday, April 26, 2011

Went to bed at 10:00 p.m. Awakened at 1:30 to use the bathroom, then back to bed. Awakened at 8:15 a.m. Wow! I must have needed that sleep.

What I did different yesterday than the day before.

I took 2 Tylenol Allergy capsules.
Had pasta for dinner.
Strength trained for 30 minutes.
