Getting back to work

Saturday, September 21, 2013

I have not been motivated enough to to stick with the program lately. It's a bit of life getting in the way and a bit of laziness. So my goal for the day is to move some more. I have lost my momentum. But I am ready to get back to work and work "hard" for my goals. And the start is to put this down and get moving.

The fight to start

Monday, September 16, 2013

When it comes exercise I am good at doing the work, but getting up and starting is my biggest obstacle. I have found that exercise can be enjoyable. I know that it is important for my health and well being. So what is the problem? As I struggle through and exercise anyway even if it's only 10 minutes I hope I can overcome this and discover that exercise became more important and valuable to me that its not something I second guess myself in doing. It becomes automatic.

Hi there, the exercise part of your health is a tough one if you're not accustomed to going to a gym or training in your own home. The cardio side is walking, biking or the various machines that are offered at gym's or home gym's. It's all about getting your mind set to "GO" and you are certainly not alone. I find it best not to procrastinate once you've decided to do something for you will talk yourself out of it the longer time goes by in any given day. I missed yesterday but ended up doing some house cleaning which was much needed and at least I was doing something. To all of us who struggle a bit with this, let's get moving. emoticon emoticon

I feel the same way about exercise and I don't know why either. Also have the same issue with just getting it done. However...today I am scheduling it in at 10 am. I also know once the first few minutes are behind me I can stick with it. Good luck and keep on keeping on. emoticon

Good reasons to workout

Saturday, August 24, 2013

1. I deserve to look and feel good.

2. My family needs a mom and wife that is healthy and active.

3. Because participation is what life is about.

4. Everyone is in a better mood when I'm feeling gooood!

5. Because I can and I should. Lazy is not my middle name.

Hubby

Friday, August 16, 2013

The biggest supporter in my weight loss journey has been my hubby. He is doing this right along with me. We both have our ups and downs so we understand what the other one is going through. He is better at some thing then I am, like exercise. We work with each others strengths and weaknesses. We learn from each other. We are quite the team, but I knew that pretty early in our relationship. I know we can reach our goals together.
