I struggled so badly Thursday until I will mentally pretend this day didn't happen. emoticon I kept thinking, if only I had the mental energy the physical energy would come. In spite, of my "set back" atleast today I am more inspired. I am motivated to convert my "set backs" into my "come-backs" and I will yet picture the day of victory and defeat! emoticon

  


Lazy Day

It has been a beautiful but lazy day for me. Today, I didn't spend as much time on the SP site and as a result the consequences were not as favorable. I was not as enthused to exercise as yesterday. I made a mistake when I didn't stick to my plan. I tried a couple of different 10min. workouts instead of the ones I did yesterday. I didn't have much energy it seems. I think I did like 3-5 minutes on each video before I was off to doing something else or simply watching the rest or the video. I know, terrible, terrible Me!

I made a couple of "You Tube" videos which I enjoyed doing, however, I sit on my "tush" doing those. I'm also considering making a few videos to inspire others to join me here on SP. The evening is yet young, so I think I'm going to stop here and get in a bit of floor exercise. I think I like creating my own exercise moves rather than following the videos. No ones know better than I my level of toleration. It just seems I can never keep up and their idea of low impact which is still challenging to me. It only proves how out of shape I really am.

I will keep my head up and feel great as long as my body is in motion. I will loose these pounds! Whoo-hoo!!!

    Thanks for the tip. I will do just that take it slow and easy. There is a saying "no pain; no gain" but I also want this to be fun. I feel anything fun helps to make the mission more feasible. I would love to do low impact walking then progress to power walks for my "body in motion" routine. Any ideas to make if fun?

My First Day Of Boot Camp

I found the work out videos for the 10 minutes segments. I was really struggling to keep up and at times I had to do the lower impact version of the given body movements. At the beginning I felt tired with a bit of pain. It was the longest 10 minutes ever! I survived and awhile afterward started feeling really great! The post stretches did wonders and prevented my muscles from feeling sore.

I have done a total of 30 minutes and I am looking forward to finishing at-least 3 more 10 min. segments later on. I love the 10 minute videos and I am sure it helps the beginners. I have decided not to do the scales though, no time soon rather. The scales don't seem to move fast enough for the work I put in. (lol) In the end, I know if it's to be; It will be up to me. All the beautiful motivators helps make this transition so much smoother.

I decided to focus on my cardio training for the rest of this month. My goal is to shed some pounds, lower my raging blood pressure and start and maintain a healthier life style. I hope to one day say good bye to all bp meds and welcome a "bill of excellent health". Loosing weight will also decrease my pressure and I am looking forward to it all. I feel this will be a challenging but great journey!

Back With A Vengence

I've been gone way to long now it's time to bring it back...sounds familiar? Yea, C. who sings it in her song, is not the only one whose been gone to long.(lol)...Today is a day of new beginnings. I am looking up and thinking only fresh, good and positive thoughts. I am trusting my thoughts to be so self encouraging and uplifting until I'll have no other choice but to activate my plan of action! I am so happy to sit here as the new morning transform taking time to be grateful for all the beauty and sunshine that is feeling my soul and spirit each day as I attempt to do the "Possible"! I feel the rays of happiness, contentment, peace, love and victory. Whoo-hoo!

Must Stay Focused

Again this is another start of a great day! It is so important to put into writting goals and plans for the day. Somehow, it seems if checking off a list of daily goals to accomplish....actually helps to materialize whatever it is on that list.

Well first on my list today is to Stay Focused on each thing I write down on my list until it gets done. I am working on my water challenge again today. I have already walked this morning after work about 2 miles and had a hearty breakfast of Frosted flakes and 1 large bananna with 2% milk. Approx. 20 minutes after eating I got busy with my "home aerobics" I put in 30 minutes of "low impact" activity and felt so energized afterwards. I am now ready for a big nap. I've worked all night now this morning is really my night...to others it's day...so I'm signing off to get my "Zs" on!
