What to do?

I need a little advice...I think my friends are making me fat. I love them dearly but they always want to go out to lunch at terrible places. Today we went to Chilis where we ate chips and queso and I split an order of quesidillas with one of them.

I have thought of bringing my lunch along but some places are weird about bringing in your own food, especially sit down restaurants.

So what do you guys suggest...any opinion would be greatly appreciated.

    I have a few 'fat' friends and all of them are very aware of my food 'preferences' but I haven't gone with any of them to a quick serve type dinner place. It's been proved that they can hinder your efforts but in the same respect you can be the good influence on them. What works best for you is the way to go.

Weigh Day!

Today was my official weigh-in day and I'm down 2 pounds!! YAY ME! Only 7 more pounds to go! I'm so excited and I'm floating on air today! I'm going to stick with this and really give it my all!

So a few days ago I was complaining that I had to use all of these apps and had to enter in my data multiple times (in each app). Well now that number has been significantly reduced!! I just learned that I can link MyFitness Pal and RunKeeper. I never get on the actual websites, I had just always used my phone. Yesterday, I decided to change that and get on the MyFitness Pal website. I was pleasantly surprised to find a link to click and link the 2 apps together as well as a bunch of other sites that I could also link to MyFitness Pal or RunKeeper.

Now if only I can link both of these apps to SparkPeople, I would be set!!

Hard Hard Weekend

This weekend was tough!! Between watching football at our friends' house to having a girl's movie night in it was really hard not to snack on all of the crap that was laid out some beautifully in front of me.

For the most part, I am quite proud of myself. I ate just enough so the hostess wasn't thinking that I was being rude, but I didn't break my diet either.

I do wish that I had worked out this week but after my concrete hug on Friday, I need to take a break to heal. In case you missed it, I tripped while running my normal 3 miles or so around our neighborhood and I tripped. I did a number on my knee, wrist and shoulder. Luckily nothing is seriously injured, just my pride and a few layers of skin missing. I was a little sore on Sunday, but nothing ice couldn't cure!!
