Yesterday was the official start of my SP bootcamp, and I am pleased to say it went really well! I managed to stay within all of my nutrition ranges, and the first bootcamp video was pretty fun; tougher than I thought it would be, actually!
Today I had a GREAT day in just about every day! I stayed within my nutrition ranges again, and sucessfully got my hubby to eat healthy, too. (He recently found out he has high blood-pressure and is pre-diabetic, so I'm helping him to eat healthy and work out.) When he got off of work today, we met at the hospital gym and had a nice 42min cardio session. I usually use the main base gym and let me tell you, the hospital one is SO much better! Every machine has it's own tv with cable!
In addition to my cardio session and SP bootcamp video, I did a 30-min strength session at home, a three-round circut of 12reps each of ten different arm/leg exercises. It was challenging, but I knocked them all out with good form. I finally got to use my new 15lb dumbells! Then, I did 10min of abs exercises.
Needless to say, I am feeling amazing right now. I pushed myself and found I was fully capable of doing everything I wanted to accomplish. Today was a good day.

So, here's the plan. No more messing around. This is the REAL deal! I am holding myself accountable by blogging my progress daily. Wish me luck!
Here is my *fitness* plan:
*From Jan 3rd - 3th I will do the SP Bootcamp exercises daily and check in with my bestie PURAVIDA87 who will be doing this with me.
*M-F I will do 30+mins of cardio with my hubby when he gets off of work, using the machines on the base gym.
*Daily, I will do abs exercises for at least 10mins.
*MWF I will do at least 20mins of at-home strength training for my arms and legs.
Here is my *nutrition* plan:
* I will consume between 1200-1550 calories each day, eating 6 small meals and 1-2 snacks spaced out over the day.
*From Jan 4th -24th, my meal plan will follow Oxygen Magazine's 21-day plan. It might be boring, but it works, and I NEED a jumpstart.
*After the 24th I will re-assess my needs and continue to focus on Clean Eating.
Now that I've written this down, I must see it through! After all, I'd hate to disappoint you! (Whomever you may be!)

I've managed to lose almost 2lbs in the past week, despite not being able to make it to the gym for my daily cardio. This THRILLS me because I've been afraid of gaining weight over the holidays, and so far, I'm on a better path than expected!
Tomorrow afternoon my hubby and I are driving to AZ to spend Christmas with his family and I'm super excited, but a little nervous since they eat lots of bad-for-my-health foods. But luckily, my favorite hiking spots are all within a 30min drive from their house, so I have guaranteed exercise!
With this loss, I'm ready to face the Christmas fats head on and hike my way healthy over the next week! Bring.It.ON.

Soooooo, I've decided not to buy any more clothes until I hit 150. Now, I realize I'm currently weighing in at 170, which is a full 20lbs above this mini-goal weight, but I don't care! Why should I buy more things that I won't be needing? I have PLENTY of clothes already, so it's not like I'm going to run out of things to wear before I reach this mini-goal weight. This way, I have something fun to look forward to when I reach 150, which is a little over a third of the way to my goal weight of 110. And then, instead of buying just clothes, I'm going to reward myself with cute workout clothes and keep on towards my goal weight! Now I just have to avoid all stores with cute clothes that I don't need...yikes!
