Wow, so I just completed my first week, and I actually did alright. I was able to adjust my food intake accordingly, and not feel like I was starving. The exercise is truly my obstacle. I really don't like cardio, so it's hard to get the motivation to make sure I do it every day, especially with all the housework and kids, husband, etc.

Didn't do so well with the exercise, but did really well with my calorie intake. It seems like naptime is never long enough to accomplish all of the things I need to accomplish. My days need to be planned out a little better.

I ate ok, I went over my calories a bit, but I believe I should allow about 200-500 extra for breastfeeding. I did see that I didn't get enough protein and I got about 20 grams more fat than was recommended. I did exercise though, and I can truly feel it. My whole body is sore.

Yesterday was great! I ate within my allotted calories, fat, carbs, and protein. And you know what? I actually didn't even feel deprived. Today I'm feeling the strength training I did yesterday. I think my biggest struggle will be the cardio. I've never been great at cardio. And truthfully, I don't much like it either. So, I will be putting the most effort into this aspect of my weight loss plan. I know that when I reach my goal, I will be very satisfied. I need to purchase a scale... I don't even know what my starting weight is.

After a day of feasting, I tracked what I ate yesterday and discovered I was 1000 calories over my goal! Now that the baby is 3 weeks old, it's time to get serious... Today I vow to do better.
