So this past week I've been playing video games a LOT, which meant too busy to Spark and too busy to work out and too busy too busy too busy haha. Actually part of the reason I haven't been working out is that my back got super messed up last weekend and has been made worse by sitting at my computer (another reason I haven't been on Spark really)
But after weigh-in this morning I only gained a pound while not keeping track of nutrition/fitness, and that 1 pound can easily be that TOM comes in today/tomorrow. Which means I may have been eating the amount my body wanted.
I love SP and I love all my new friends, but it's just so hard to find the time to sit down at the computer for so long each day, and it's so hard to stay within the ranges I'm given, when all I really want is to do it on my own.
I don't know, maybe it's just me. But I do think that after this week of not being on SP, I was still conscious of what I was eating, a bit worried that I was going to gain a few pounds and mess up all my progress, but all in all I enjoyed the week a lot more, I found that I went out and did things that would normally be exercise, but without ruining them by calorie counting.
So I'm planning to stay on SP, but I'd like to try this experiment of doing what my body wants me to do, so I'll be on just as a community member and as a friend.

So as it gets closer to finals and the sun is out and I am super busy all the time, I've found I'm just not able to spend as much time as the gym as I used to. I'm still working out every day, but I'm burning a lot less calories than I was 3 weeks ago. But I decided that it's healthier for me to lower my nutrition calorie range to a more sensible (not over 2,000 calories) and lower my fitness calorie range (3000 a week instead of 4500).
I'm at the end of the stage 2 and part of it is reviewing my habits, and I think this plan will be more do-able for a longer period of time.

I've been noticing this week that I've had some ups and downs in the motivation department. I haven't gone over my calories at all, but I haven't been eating as many fruits and veggies as I would like, and I haven't' been working out a lot this week. I took two days off of actual work outs, and just counted my walking around a lot both those days (because I was walking around a lot haha) as my fitness, which doesn't really feel right to me.
I know that two days off of from the gym isn't bad, that it won't kill me, but it makes me worried when I too easily find reasons not to work out.
I've also not been on my normal schedule AT all this week in terms of sleeping. My normal days are: Wake up at 8, SP it up for about 30-45 minutes, have breakfast, do some wii fit, go to class, come home for lunch break, go back to class, head to the gym, and then come home to cook dinner, then relax with the boyfriend.
My schedule lately has been more: Wake up at 9:30, grab some quick food, head to class, come home for lunch, go back to class, have my friend come over after class, watch horrible tv, think about going to the gym, think about cooking dinner, find other things to eat so when it's time to cook dinner I'm not hungry, etc. etc.
I've just got to get back into the groove of things a bit. But today I woke up at 8:10, which is closer to my normal, and spent some time on here, so maybe I'll be able to throw in a quick wii fit work out before heading off to school.

So I have officially lost 10 lbs using SP!! My BMI is just 2.43 points away from no longer being obese!
I had been waiting to weigh myself because 2 weeks ago I was having a really hard time with the scale not really moving, but after that 2 weeks I am down 4 lbs and have officially lost 10 lbs!!!!

So today was my first EVER 5k race! It was the Naral Prochoice Washington Run for your Rights recreational 5k. So the proceeds went to a cause that I care about (and also though all my work with them I knew almost all the coordinators haha). Also because apparently running for rights make Jesus very angry, we had a lot of people PROTESTING OUR RUN, which was great motivation to keep running haha.
I finished with a 38:58. I am AMAZED, when I run on the treadmill I'm usually at a 15 min/mile pace, so I was hoping for a 45 min time, so I beat my goal by 6 MINUTES!!!!
I ran with my dad's girlfriend, who is super sweet and awesome and paid for my registration fee. My dad showed up about a mile in to run with us and take pictures (once I get them I will be posting them IMMEDIATELY).
It was really really hard, but really really fun, the weather was super gorgeous (I actually wish it had been a bit cooler) but it was a BLAST! I'm definitely going to do that again!
