I wrote a blog at the beginning of the yr. then I gained 9lbs instead of following through. But why not reverse this situation right now. Watched Biggest loser last night. Feeling very motivated. Gonna give up my diet soda and cut back on salt and Splenda as much as I can. We used our pool all summer and I've lost 11 lbs total. Didn't weigh in at my highest so loss does not show up.

I know I left healthy eating around here somewhere. Anybody got advice on how to turn off the sugar button? I am welcoming the new year with high hopes! I have spent too much time on the sofa watching the house get prettier, as my hubby repainted it. I need to leave the iPad games until everything else is done. Here is the plan... Use freed up time to plan food in advance. Use energy from healthy food to move my body more. I'm just getting over the flu, so it may be slower at first. My Fitbit is so ready to aid me. My weekly report has been alerting me to not enough steps. I need to heed the alert.

    Good plan! emoticon I've found that I needed to give up all electronic games, however innocuous. I get hooked and spend way too much time on them.

I have been struggling and fell into the comfort food trap. I haven't been using sp and felt alone. I sat down to renew and was gonna just drop my teams as I have been letting you down. But just looking showed me you were here all the time. I can just pick up and go again.
My health is precarious right now but getting involved with sp can help every issue. My latest one being diabetes edema in my left eye,causing very poor blurry vision. But guess what! Spark people has made it easy to make font bigger and still read!!!! That alone will help my depression. My weight is at my all time high, but I am gonna start tracking my food again. I have not even been using my wonderful Fitbit tool right. My hubby has been right by my side, but I apologize for leaving the rest of you on the shelf! You are back in my life, I promise...

Summer and the pool is making it fun to workout, but I am not getting to my sneaker class. I need to wake up a little earlier. Yard work is rewarding because we get to eat from the garden and enjoy the beauty of the landscape. I just need to be patient and hopefully more consistent.

Vacation is over, time to regroup my weight loss effort

We had a wonderful eight days with family and friends. Now I need to start recording my food again and working out harder. I found I felt hungrier while eating like everyone around me. I found the value of how we usually eat at home. But I was inspired by being with my sister-in-law on their farm. She works hard with goats, chickens, garden, and her workouts. I am gonna spend more time in our garden.
