BLC Beginning Measurements

I took measurements this morning for the start of BLC, and needless to say I was not happy. I am going to look on the bright side and be happy that I at least know what my starting point is now. I can work on getting the inches to go down.

R Arm - 14.5
L Arm - 14
R Thigh - 25
L Thigh - 25
Chest (under bust) - 38
Waist at belly button - 44
Hips - 47

I am participating in two BLC challenges this time, and while that will be a lot to keep up with, I really want to do it.

My goals for BLC
Lose 14 lbs
Lose 5 inches total - aim high right :)
Track my food everyday
300 fitness minutes a week
Drink my water everyday.

Goals For September thru the end of 2014

So, in order to give myself some kind of visibility to my goals and hopefully motivate myself to get past this maintaining I am going to set some goals September, and general goals for the rest of the year.

September - I am in BLC hoping for this challenge to help me stay on track
Weight today 195.2 :(
Goal weight for September 30 - 188

Fitness goal for September - 1500 minutes
So far - 235

Calorie goals -
1300 or less daily (by a weekly average if necessary)

Water - 1 gallon daily


Goals for October - December 31st
1500 fitness minutes per month
Goal weight on 12/31 - 170
Track, log in and remain as active on spark as possible

Ok so my daily accountability blogs are gonna need to be more like weekly plans of attack with a recap at the end of the week. This week I only show a .2 lb loss and it upsets me but it is probably bloat and TOM. I am struggling this week to stick to lower carbs and have had a headache for about 3 days. Low carb used to be so easy lol. Today is going to be a higher carb day, we are having a going away lunch for two co workers, and I know there won't be a lot of healthy options. Such is life, and I need to learn how to deal with having a bad food day and not letting it turn into a bad food week/month/ year.

Since BLC weeks are Wednesday- Tuesday here is my plan of attack for this week.

Wednesday - planned higher calorie/carb day
Thursday - fasting day
Friday - low carb
Saturday - low carb
Sunday - low carb skip the cake at the bday party for my niece
Monday - fasting day
Tuesday - low carb

Fitness goals -

    Looks like a great plan of attack. I wish you well on the low carb! Find what works and stick to it! I am looking for an article for you I read awhile back but can't find it yet. I will send it when I find it. It mat help you out.

    I'm looking to tweak my diet to help me loose more. I love the idea of journaling daily and focusing on low carb. On your "fasting" days are you eating at all? Juicing? I'm looking for some tips!

I took my carb reload on Saturday, I really felt I needed it. Now I am scared to check the scale, so I am staying away from it until tomorrow morning.

I met all of my goals Friday except the calendar... Will do that tonight after work.

Today's goals:
45 mins of cardio
30 mins of strength
1 gallon of water

I am so ready for the weekend, I need to decompress lol.

Yesterday's Weight: 196.2
Yesterday's goals:
45 mins of cardio - 45 emoticon
30 mins of strength - 0
16 cups of water - 18 emoticon
Under 45 Net Carbs - Total 45 / Net 29 emoticon

I didn't get to my strength training and this morning I woke up late so I only did 30 mins of cardio. I plan to make a return trip to the gym tonight to get more fitness minutes in.

Today's weight: 195.4 (-.8)

Today's goals:
60 mins of cardio -
30 mins of strength
16 cups of water
Under 45 Net Carbs
Buy a Wall Calendar to hang in my kitchen to track goals :)
