I have been tossing the idea around for the last couple of days to try something different. Weightloss is an ongoing process that does not happen in a single day or get determined by a single meal. Lately I have been so busy with school and work and the kids, that packing my lunches has happened less frequently, and business obligations such as lunch meetings happen more frequently. All this has made me contemplate the idea of using a calorie bank as my approach to calorie cycling for the month of March. Based on my activity level and my current weight, according to a calculator online, I should be around 1500 calories a day to lose weight. That really seems high to me, but hey thats what it says. What I am going to do with this information is take my current weight calorie needs for weight loss which is 11039 per week, and my goal weight calorie needs for weight loss which is 9835 per week and experiment. Instead of aiming to hit a specific calorie range in a day I am going to look at it in a weekly format. Since it is Wednesday and I have not done this yet this week, I will keep with my regular calorie cycling until Sunday morning.
I like experimenting lol and I find that if I just do the same thing for too long my weight stays the same. Below is my plan, nothing fancy really, and I plan to blog weekly about results if any.
3/9-3/15 - 9835 calories for the week
3/16-3/22 - 11039 calories for the week
3/23-3/29 - 9835 calories for the week
3/30-4/5 - 11039 calories for the week.
