Since my new position at work keeps me so very busy along with being a single mom and a full time student lol, I rarely get time to do more on spark then comment on a blog once in a while and track. I am staying fairly active in my BLC challenge...I would like to do better though. Nothing real substantial coming out of me today, but I am going to post my August goals.

1 - Get out and stay out of the 190's
2 - Continue on my nutrition plan and continue tweaking it for better results
3 - 1500 fitness minutes
4 - 1 gallon of water every single day
5 - keep positive when the scale decides to be mean.

    I hear you! I am really busy as well and I only read a few blogs and I am active only on one team, Team CAMO in the BLC. Round 26 will be starting in Sept and newbies can register in late August. My hangout here at Spark is the CAMO chat thread and everything BLC related, although not your BLC, yet. You CAN do it!! August will light up!! emoticon emoticon

For some reason this week I have slacked tremendously with tracking my food. That being said, I did stick to low carb and once I put what I ate into the tracker I know I was way too low on calories.
Weigh in June 18 - 193.4
Weigh in June 25 - 193.8 (+.4)

Wednesday - planned higher calorie/carb day - done
Thursday - fasting day - done
Friday - low carb - done
Saturday - low carb - higher than I should have been
Sunday - low carb skip the cake at the bday party for my niece - done
Monday - fasting day - done
Tuesday - low carb - done

Fitness goals -
300 minutes total - 245...


This week's goals -
Wednesday - low carb
Thursday - Fasting
Friday - Tuesday vacation - not restricting carbs but eating consciously.


Fitness goal: 300 fitness minutes.

Ok so my daily accountability blogs are gonna need to be more like weekly plans of attack with a recap at the end of the week. This week I only show a .2 lb loss and it upsets me but it is probably bloat and TOM. I am struggling this week to stick to lower carbs and have had a headache for about 3 days. Low carb used to be so easy lol. Today is going to be a higher carb day, we are having a going away lunch for two co workers, and I know there won't be a lot of healthy options. Such is life, and I need to learn how to deal with having a bad food day and not letting it turn into a bad food week/month/ year.

Since BLC weeks are Wednesday- Tuesday here is my plan of attack for this week.

Wednesday - planned higher calorie/carb day
Thursday - fasting day
Friday - low carb
Saturday - low carb
Sunday - low carb skip the cake at the bday party for my niece
Monday - fasting day
Tuesday - low carb

Fitness goals -

    Looks like a great plan of attack. I wish you well on the low carb! Find what works and stick to it! I am looking for an article for you I read awhile back but can't find it yet. I will send it when I find it. It mat help you out.

    I'm looking to tweak my diet to help me loose more. I love the idea of journaling daily and focusing on low carb. On your "fasting" days are you eating at all? Juicing? I'm looking for some tips!

I took my carb reload on Saturday, I really felt I needed it. Now I am scared to check the scale, so I am staying away from it until tomorrow morning.

I met all of my goals Friday except the calendar... Will do that tonight after work.

Today's goals:
45 mins of cardio
30 mins of strength
1 gallon of water

I am so ready for the weekend, I need to decompress lol.

Yesterday's Weight: 196.2
Yesterday's goals:
45 mins of cardio - 45 emoticon
30 mins of strength - 0
16 cups of water - 18 emoticon
Under 45 Net Carbs - Total 45 / Net 29 emoticon

I didn't get to my strength training and this morning I woke up late so I only did 30 mins of cardio. I plan to make a return trip to the gym tonight to get more fitness minutes in.

Today's weight: 195.4 (-.8)

Today's goals:
60 mins of cardio -
30 mins of strength
16 cups of water
Under 45 Net Carbs
Buy a Wall Calendar to hang in my kitchen to track goals :)
