The local Relay for Life is tonight and I am volunteering, so as soon as I am done work I have to get home and my sister and I are making chocolate covered cookies and rice krispy treats to sell at the event for the team. I am very proud to be a part of my company's team and we have raised more than 43,000.00 this year through t-shirt sales and fundraisers!

Today's Goals:
30 mins of cardio
16 cups of water

    Glad to see an awesome attitude! Taking part in things like this can really impact us as we help others out! That's quite a bit of money, you should be proud of that! You are quite the team player and volunteerer! I am glad I am not there or I would buy up all the chocolate covered cookies! Sounds yummy. Now today is your low calorie day, so no sampling! Yesterday ended up being an eleven hour work day for me and a chat with my son's teacher at school... It was not a good day. I didn't over eat, but I was feeling so depressed by the early evening that I fed the kids and went to bed and cried eventually falling asleep.

Yesterday's goals:

Long day ahead at work today, and I've been sneezing my head off since I left the house lol. I already know I have to stay late today, so I don't know how much gym time I will get in but I have my clothes with me so I am going no matter what!

I don't know why, but sometimes it seems I work out so much better on a day where I have fasted... I need to keep track of how I feel during my workouts, but I am leaning towards working out at least in a fasted state to see if there is a difference.

Yesterday's goals:

fasting until dinner emoticon

Today's goals:
40 mins of cardio

    Yeah, I have had that too. There are quite a few reasons physiologically why that works well. Only downside is it can increase cortisol and as a result increase belly fat if done incorrectly and increase cravings for carbs so be careful.

I had a nice mother's day yesterday and I hope all you wonderful mothers did as well. I went out to breakfast with my kids and actually did fairly well. I had planned on getting some garden work done yesterday but it just didn't work out maybe today.

60 mins of cardio
