Saturday was my first carb nite on the Carb Nite Solution, and I must admit I was a bit nervous and really still am... I weighed in Saturday morning for my challenge and then went about my day like normal.
Breakfast was an egg and 2 strips of bacon
Lunch was chicken breast and some smoked almonds
Dinner *Start of Carb Nite* was whole grain pasta with lean turkey italian sausage and tomato sauce. Very YUM.
For the remainder of my carb nite I stayed away from bread because I know I cannot eat it without going overboard and instead I enjoyed an apple and for a treat a mini blizzard.
I tracked everything and stayed within my ranges, but because I was curious I decided to weigh myself before bed. An eye opener to say the least.
Saturday morning weight:202.2
Saturday night weight: 208.6
Sunday Morning weight: 206.4
Monday Morning weight: 204.6
Tuesday Morning weight: 202.8
Wednesday Morning weight: 202.2
Thursday Morning weight: 201.4
Apparently the carb nite has caused significant 'false gain'... I weigh everyday so I am curious how long it takes to get back to what my weight was before carb nite. Based on this, I may not have another carb nite until I hit 199.
Other than the weight fluctuation, I do not have any other adverse effects. I have not been craving carbs or anything since I had my carb nite so that is a good sign.
