Run Number Two

I ran 1.60 miles in 18:18 and burned 223 calories for my efforts. Woo-hoo! My goal is to run one more time this week for about the same distance. My rest was broken on Monday night, so Tuesday was a no-go. Today is a new day, and I feel good albeit still a bit sweaty while I cool off. More anon.

Off Day Today

I ran and unexpectedly walked yesterday, so today is my day to be "off" from cardio exercise just to recover a bit. The scale was friendly this morning, and that's a good start to the work week.

A Good Start to the Week

I ran 1.61 miles in 18:07 today before going to church with my son. It did my body and soul a world of good to know that I've already logged in some serious exercise time. Normally, I don't like to run on Sunday mornings, but today it felt good to get out there. My goal is to run twice more this week.

Second Run of the Week - September 11, 2014

I ran 1.38 miles in 16:18 including a bit on the street with most on the track to preserve my knees. It felt good to finish and say, "I've done it."

First Run of the Week - Sep. 8, 2014

I didn't have time to walk to the track, run, walk a couple of laps, and then walk home, so I simply ran in the neighborhood then walked when finished. I logged 1.35 miles in 15:47 today. It felt good.
