It's official; I now weigh more than I ever have before. When I first started my journey I weighed 142, and I successfully got down to around 110. It is amazing how fast the weight can come back! Mind you, I fluctuated between 110 and 120 for a few years. But I quit smoking in October, and I weighed about 120 then. I now weigh 149.8. 30 pounds in 6 months...
So now I start again. I have a cruise booked in August that I'd really like to be in shape for. As a matter of fact, I'd LOVE to be able to feel comfortable in a bikini then. The fact that I'd knock my husband's socks off with that is just gravy! And since he's working internationally right now, I can do this without him being aware of what's going on except on the fringes.
I have a plan and a schedule set up for my workouts. I'm not making major changes in my diet, except to stop eating out most days of the week. I subscribe to the low calorie emeals option, so my weekly dinner menus include lots of vegies and nutrient dense meals. So here goes...the adventure starts!

My plan is to go to the gym before work in the mornings. On Mon/Wed/Fri, I'll be doing cardio, either the bike, the elliptical, or swimming. On Tues/Thurs, I'll be doing strength training. Tomorrow will be my first morning in the gym so I'd better head to bed now.
