Earthquakes during breakfast

This morning (45 minutes ago) there was an earthquake in Reykjavik (Iceland) where I live and it was 3.9 on the Richter scale.

Now I am eating my oatmeal with blueberries and shaking with it!!!

Since I sat down and started eating we have gotten 3 small once!

The houses in Iceland are build to shake so there are no damage done (that I know of), but I will keep you posted if this starts to turn out to be a shaking day.

update: we have gotten over 200 earthquakes since midnight :/

update: 17:30 (IS time), we just had two more!

Today I let myself to get some sweetmeat. I know this is a diet page, and I hope I will not make you brake by seeing these pictures, but when I was eating it (and enjoying it) I recognized that I have gotten a lot of opportunities to eat sweets and I have said no to them way more often then I said yes, but I have only said yes to unhealthy sweets two times (the ice cream on Wednesday when my friends invited me out for dinner, and now today)

So tomorrow is my last day of picture food blog, and I have had a lot of fun doing this! I have learned that I am not eating between meals, but I guess I could eat a little bit less :) but tomorrow it will be clear if this kind of eating is making my fatter, thinner or if I am stabilized.

My goal is not gaining weight and not losing it when I am healthy, but soon I will go to chemo once a week and I guess I need all my strength then, because I am going to be sick four days a week.

I see that I am eating a lot of bread, I could eat less of that (but I am not sure), but I eat fruits every day and vegetable and that is a good thing :)

I recommend you try this, it is FUN! :)

Nothing happend today :) I was a the Light (the cancer support center) all day and ate there breakfast, lunch and coffee during the afternoon :)

You should know by now that I am the type of person that take every opportunity that comes in my hand and sometimes I say yes before I know exactly what I am saying yes to heheh :)

So, yesterday when my friend from the Cancer support center (The Light) asked if I would like to come with her this evening to the Light because there were some chefs coming, I said "Yes" with out hesitating.. and didn't ask anything.

So when she came on Facebook and said "See you in 30 minutes", and I said "WHAT! IT IS ONLY SIX A CLOCK AND I HAVE NOT EATEN DINNER!!" I got rather nervous because I like I said hadn't eaten anything (since lunch) and I was just going to cook some chicken...

WHAT TO DO, WHAT TO DO..

Well I taught my husband to cook the chicken (he have never cooked a kitchen in the oven before) and then I ran out feeling rather hungry...

When I arrived I was really surprised!! This was a cooking course!!!! WOW!!! How grate!!! Indian food.. Excellent!!!

Then I remembered that I am taking pictures of the food I am eating (WHAT TO DO WHAT TO DO) hehehe... I must admit that if I hadn't been taking the pictures I have eaten more, so perhaps it was a good thing I was in this picture mode :)

This made me think that we are constantly going to get into situations that we have not organized and it is in our power to take control and even though I wanted to cheat and don't take picture I thought "NO you are not going to do that! This is live, you just take control and don't over eat!"

So I didn't and I put a lot's of vegetables on the dish!

I must tell you that this evening was grate! I just loved it!

OMG! Do you know what my friends did ???? They took me out to dinner totally surprise!!! My sister called me today and said, do you want to come out to dinner with me before we meet the girls in the knitting club ?

I just said yes, but asked if we could go to a special place called American Style, she just said yes, but asked if it was OK, if another friend of us would come with us. And that was totally fine.

This was just suposed to be a casual thing, we do this often before we meet for knitting club.. well ok..

They picked me up, and then the other friend said, "hey my husband got this gift card on the Hamburgerfabrik, is it ok to go there ?".. I just said yes, but when we drove over the place was packed with people, I said to them that we would not get a table, but they replied really quickly "We have a reservation".

We got out of the car and walked to the restaurant and then I started to see some familiar faces!!! But when we got in the knitting club, plus other friends were there!!!!! ALL FOR ME!!!.. because of my birthday, and the C thing :) :) :).. WOW!!!!!

I am taking picture of everything I eat so *sigh*, this day went a little overboard, but! I got the healthiest on the menu, and because it was a surprise dinner and my birthday I got free Ice cream from the restaurant that I ate but I tried to enjoy it as much as I could!
