My life was bumpy..

My life was bumpy these past couple days..first I was without a computer my old one decided to call it quits on me.. so I had to buy new one..during that time I still kept up with my eating healthy and exercising but to log it in was another story.. so I had to do the old fashion way writing it down on a notebook..the challeges that I signed up for since I could not write it down in the computer again I did it on notebook.. did alot of walking and some lifting weights, sit ups not the one I like because I like the videos with coach nicole.. I am excited say that I am back miss you all and this site.. so it is to say that my life threw me a curve ball but I did not let it discourage me I kept moving foward with my goals always in front of me ...

    You gave me a chortle at 'old fashioned way' of writing in a notebook :)

I tracked nutrition for YEARS in paper journals. I kinda like it, actually, but I am addicted to myfitnesspal.com

I love trying new things but I keep coming back to that one. Great reminder that we CAN still write it down!

Getting back to the my real world

Today my day starts off at 4:30 in the morning.. to get to work.. I am a little scared for I am thinking where am I going to fit in the healthy habits I am trying to implament.. always on the go multitask on everything oh and my stress level goes up thru the roof.. those are not healthy habits.. but its my work without I do not get a paycheck..well my morning after got everything prepared at 7:30 I sat in my office and had my healthy breakfast which I prepared last night, carried my water bottle made sure that it was icy cold and filled .Then on my break I walked for 15 mins .. everybody was looking at me like a crazy person walking around the cafeteria.but I held my head up high and continued with my newly made routine..then on my lunch time did not hae time to make me lunch but made myself a protien shakewith veggies and fruit I had on hand.. then just before leaving to go home I managed to squeezed in 35 mins of walking again.. then when I get home it just was the 10 mins of toning when I went to take a shower I took off my step counter to my amazed I stepped 10995 steps in all day.. so I did pretty good .. in my getting back to my real world .. I can fit healthy routines and meals in my on the go schedule.. I am committed to it no ifs and buts excuses.. I need it for my health.

Changing my way of thinking..

Today on my coaches session he (SparkGuy) talked about how one must change the way we think about the diet .. another words its not a diet its a lifestyle..to be consistence .. to live life just making healthy choices with in our atmosphere..if you go out to eat make healthy choices ...exercise at least 30 mins..
so with all that I have heard all that I have read today I have decided to change my way of thinking that I am not in a diet that I am on a healthy plan to a better me..

    I have to keep reminding my self that this is a life style.. and when I keep telling my self this I seem to do better, we all have choices to make and that is what life is about well to me.. and I know when I choose to not go to the gym or eat this or eat that then it is not going to be good for my health.. and it effects so many other areas in my life..
but the good thing is.. we can get back on track when.. and keep going strong

    I think one of the best parts of a healthy lifestyle is asking ourselves the question "Is this something I want to do for the rest of my life?" and really making a new normal for ourselves. A diet tends to be "I'll eat like this for some number of months, then go back to normal" with that normal being the way we ate that made us gain in the first place.

1st Weigh In

Today was my first weigh in .. I was afraid that I did not lose not one pound..the one pound that I put myself down for to loe at least a pound a week.. well guess what I did I even lost anextra one more making it 2 pounds this week.. I doubted myself because the tracking keeps saying i need to eat more the calories or te protein was always low so I beefed it up to be in the range.. so happy happy with that..for now...I motivation wise well its off the scale thru the roof..since I have moving around more I have been noticing more energy I have.. eample of it is today after I did my toning video of the day I did my windows..then after dinner did the 30 mins nature walk around my neighborhood..so what I can say now for the closing is thanks to SPARKSPEOPLE I think I cn stick it thru...

    I try not to focus too much on the tracker as far as what is says I'm lacking because it never seems I can do it right, always seem to be low in protein and carbs and yet if I eat more I'd go over my calories.

Organizing ,decluttering and cleaning

Yep today I woke up with a list of things I want to do to today.On that list I had to finish my kitchen to me it the most important room in my home.Since I love to cook .. its my stress releaser ..Now I can say that I am done with it.. boy when you are not origanize to me my kitchen looked cluttered and dirty.. ( ashamely said but true)...did my window too now the sun comes in beautifuly in.. I even went to my backyard and took some flower pots and put on my window.. I took my younger son and asked him honey don't you think its about time to give away some toys you do not play with.. so we sat down and went through one box threw away the broken ones and put the ones he did not want tht are in good condition to give it a church near by..next month we do it again..there were some toy animals we stayed with and used it for decorating our patio..all the while spending time with him i was cooking ground turkey for tacos for dinner.. well I did what was on my to do list for today. . including exercise.. and the extra was spending one on one with my younger son.. I enjoyed that and feel a sense on accomplishment with today...
