Busy busy like a bee

Today I woke up with tons of energy.. did my grocery all healthy for the past two days been throwing way stuff that are unhealthy cleaned my fridge brought some plaster baskets to fit in my fridge one is for fruits the other for veggie that way when i open the door I see them.. after I chopped my fruits and veggies ready to eat I did my 35 mins of walking on my treadmil while I watched my son play his wii games cheering him on...then got my notebook out with the computer and sorted out recipes for the following week then in my compter looked thru the coupons to fit my menus.. i am really getting organized here.hahaha..preparing everything for I start to work on Monday with no time to plan or cook that elaborate.. only on Saturdays and Sunday is when I shall plan to do my heavy cooking.. I am committed this time i have to my health depends on it..already thinking when to do my exercise at work so that when I get home its either done or half of it and finish it up on the evenings...also I want to make a strong commitment to blog everyday even if its to say hi...because this really helps me out.. till tomorrow for its a new day...

Suprised Myself today

Today I thought was not going to turn out what I had planned for in the beginning.. I woke up so late and with all that I wanted to do and the day being so short since its winter..well then for starter I did a protein shake for breakfast to had out the door to do groceries since I eating lots of fruits and veggies.. then I thought on my way boy I do not think Iwill have time for my exercise I was wrong I squeezed my 10 minutes of toning my arms.. then went abouttaking all my christmas stuff down and away.. all the while in between getting dinner ready made some fish, brown rice, and fresh corn cob I brought from the farmers market.. now I was thinking too tired to walk for 30 mins.. well I was wrong again after I organized my family room whichI put my treadmil facing the tv my weights and bands on the shelf so that I can see them.. after that I got on the treadmil and watched a program a full hour with out even noticing it went by.. so all in all I had a great day and importantly I did not let stress get in my way...

Signed up for a challenge

Yesterday as I was looking around the sparks , as stumble on a challenge that caught my eye..so i signed up to keep motivated to move foward as well as move around..
Its called the jumpstart january challenge .. its about getting exercise for the whole four weeks.. that is great for my that way I know that I have to do it to be accountable.. well the its day 2 and did what I was suppoe to do 10 mins of toning then 30 mins of cardio.. I am starting slow but today I did 60 mins of walking.. instead of 30.. so that is great .. you know that when walk outside around the neighborhood you lose track of time ... I enjoyed it I call them my nature walks... can not wait for tomorrow.. you know exercise is not so bad like I thought..

    A little bit at a time is the way to go! Trying to jump into too much is an easy way to get burnt out. Enjoy your walks (I'd love to go out on some but it's 6 degrees here!!) emoticon

GOALS FOR 2013

Hi everyone i thught about this all day today what to blog.. so it just came to me what my goals for the new year to come..now that is hard cuase there are so many , but of coarse i really need the ones that i can turely work at.. so here goes.

1. Must eat healthy but not deprive myself.
2. Move about and around.. but make it fun.
3. Organize.. to make life easier and helps alot to be healthy.
4. Smile for life is short..its a good positive feeling.
5. Have Fun and laugh ..build memories for you never know who will not be here next year.
6. Listen to music often .. its good for the soul, motivates you to think and feel positive about myself.
7. When I fall pick myself up, brush the dirt off my shoulder, do not look back learn from it and move foward.
8. Have positive friends around you..ignore the negative.
9. Not have fear of the new or changes.. confidence is number one, say what is on my mind.
10. Put me on top of the list.. learn to say no or ask for help.
11. BELIEVE .. I can do it even if little by little.
12. Enjoy Life to the fullest each day.

    Music is a huge part of my workout and just day to day stuff. SO much so my husband refuses to by me an ipod with less then 64 gigs of memory. I listen to to much Music for smaller he says. My favorite way to move and make it fun is a really fun song playlist and just literally dance my way through housework. Gets stuff done that I hate doing and makes me feel so much better.     Barbie - absolutely love this blog, reminds us to set our focus & goals beyond just our nutrition & exercise goals, but to focus on other goals that will complete the mental health as well such as organization. Living healthy is more than just what we eat but our outlook & how we complete our days ---without a doubt you will be a success in 2013!

    A great list of goals for the New Year. I am just doing one goal each month. And for January it is to drink my water. I think this is the hardest thing for me. I have a bottle in my pickup - and I take a drink every time I get in and when I get out. However, today the water was frozen - now that was really funny.

Working toward my first goal

Well today I did not go out anywhere I decided to stay in and work towards my first goal .. this week my first week on the plan I organized my whole kitchen.. decluttered it.. threw away anything that was out dated, looked funny, or have not used at all. Now my kitchen looks organized and clean,a place where I feel like cooking healthy.. got my cookbooks dusted them and put on my counter top visible to my eye so that when I get bored of what I am eating look into a new recipe and whip it up. Today I aw an old recipe of my grandmothers saw that it was healthy and did it.. saw that I had sweet pepper and hot dribble some olive oil and roasted them on the barbeque..took out some chicken breast seasoned it and threw it on the grill too. took out my slow cooker and made some chicken vegetable soup..now I have food for a couple of days no excuse to eat fast food when I have the fridge full of healthy food. right?? made an inventory of what I have and made a list of what i need .. for next grocery trip..you know getting organized helped me not think about food to eat and I think I did some exercise at least I sweated a little bit .. I am proud of my newly organized kitchen.. now i shall tackle the rest of the house little by little.. New Me HERE I COME 2013 hahahah

    love that you have a clean kitchen where you can make healthy foods .I usually cook healthy every day but need to be more organized . I knew I bought brussel sprouts last week at store could not find tehm anywhere then they magicially apeared again. I will have to add oliveoil and seasoning and roast tehm up quick before they escape again lol. hugs good job. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

Hubby and I have been cleaning out the kitchen this week and have stocked the house full of fruits/veggies/healthy foods as well. I'm also in closet clean-out mode. Getting rid of everything that doesn't fit or I never wear. It's been very cleansing!
