    Great plan. I did some of my major cooking yesterday for this week. I'll have to do some more meat toward the end of the week, but that's no big deal.

2011 goals

My goal for 2011 -

To stop procrastinating and lose this weight.

How will I do this -

eat healthy
drink 10 - 12 glasses water daily
be regimental about my workout program
no more beating up on myself
accept my failures and move on
make progress, not perfection

2010 had it's good days and it's not so good days. My weight loss didn't happen, it went in the opposite direction. Yes I struggle so much. And the worst thing is as I get older I really don't want to work out. I admire anyone who says they love to workout.

But I do know that I can workout, I just need to do what I enjoy doing, and as my good friend Anne always says "no excuses"

So 2011 is going to be my year of "no excuses" just do it ! I have my new MIO and I will be strapping it to my arm and working at getting my steps in every day.

I need to get in shape as I've noticed this past year it has deteriorated. Not good for a 56 year young lady !

    We'll do this one hates to exercise friend to another...if we don't want to lose it (muscle strength that is)...we've got to move it, move it, move it! emoticon I don't mind walking, I actually kinda like Nicole's 15 minute workout tape...and I'm thinking about how I can possibly squeeze some yoga or pilates into my schedule...we have to make more "ME" time my darling let's put our thinking caps on and figure out how!

I e-mailed my weight consultant and told her my eating has been terrible over the holidays and working hard at getting back on track.

She said "increase your water and veggies" so this is what I'll be doing to get back on track.

    If you are a stress eater, you're gonna eat more at holidays, unless you are very determined. If you are a 'happy' eater, ditto. Holidays seem to attract food the way food attracts flies--and isn't THAT a disgusting image!

    what is the matter with us that we can not control ourselves at holiday"s? I guess we will always battle this time...I see Kitt does --she really has to regimented and not budge an inch to make it through the holiday eating.... I wish we had a switch in us we could shut off so we wouldn't crave to eat .....except what we need to guess it is true this is a life long process and even when we get to where we want to be it will still requiresteadfast discipline .....can we do YES WE CAN
together as a team ..
being honest
leaning on our team -asking for help
getting involved in challenges --for that extra boost.

Barb I am with you --- we need this for our health..
get shaking drink that water and eat those veggies!!!

    This sounds like advice I should follow - the vegetable part, that is. I either eat or drink three servings of veggies/day and if I increased that number, then I might eat less cookies emoticon emoticon.

As for the water - I do get 8 glasses/day and too much water is dangerous, so I don't usually go over on that!!

Back to work today. I had a wonderful Christmas. I was so pleased to have Wednesday to Sunday off, was able to get alot accomplished so wasn't too rushed.

Christmas Eve we had my husband's family in, there were 11 in total, it was a fun night.

Christmas day, many beautiful gifts, Christmas dinner at my mil's home with 8 from the family. I always cook the turkey with fixings for the meal.

Christmas night my son got engaged to his girlfriend of 3 years.

Boxing Day, I drove into the city to spend time with my family and had a wonderful visit with them.

I feel very blessed to be surrounded by so much family and friends especially this time of year. There are so many that are not so fortunate.

Have a wonderful last week of 2010 and then on to 2011 when we will all work towards becoming healthy and fit !
